And Justine, who is amazingly awesome, is meeting him!!!
Ahh. I just keep thinking about this stuff and I can't handle it!! I am so happy that awesome people are having fun tonight and getting to see one of our favorite people perform. And in NYC, too!!!

Now, this is the story all about how my life got flipped-turned upside down!
How did you become a Glitzer/Mia fan? Oh man, okay. It was March/April 2011 and some picture of the members of Shoot the Freak were on my dashboard, and I though, “Huh. Maybe I’ll check them out later.” And then those photos of Darren and Mia at one of their concerts came out and I was like, “Okay, if Darren likes them, they must be pretty good (and I hope that girl sings as good as she looks because wow).” So I listened to Hell on Heels and I WAS RIGHT. And then Mars told me about the Glitzer idea a few days after it was established and I thought it was really cool, and the rest is probably in my archive history.
Have you sent some lovin' to Justine this week? Only a couple days left! Hurry, hurry, hurry!

What would you name the autobiography of your life?: ‘An Intersectional Discovery (OH MY GOSH LOOK AT THAT PUPPY)’ by Justine Janelle
Favorite movie: Oooh, I have a few. I’ll go with Stand and Deliver, and How to Train Your Dragon
Favorite book: It’s usually whatever I’m reading at the moment, so: Dreams from My Father by Barack Obama, I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings by Maya Angelou, and Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson Levine. Oh! And I’ve always loved The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton.
What do you love to do?: Sing, make music, read, write when I can, sing/rap along with the entire In the Heights soundtrack… I used to fence and box and I wish I could get back into that in the near future.

Brag about yourself!: I graduated magna cum laude and as a National Hispanic Scholar which I’m really proud of because my grades dropped significantly sophomore and junior year due to my depression and the death of a close family friend and I ended up failing three classes over those two years, but in the fall I was announced as a National Hispanic Scholar (which is based off the PSAT and your gpa, but I passed the requirements because I think they go by your weighted gpa), and I kept my grades up in the fall and I ended up raising my cumulative gpa half a point and getting magna.
I happen to think Justine is a really fuckin' cool badass! Go tell her nice things. What do you have in common? Chat her up ;)

We are super excited to have Justine be this week's Glitzer of the week!
Justine is super smart and compassionate. She cares about social justice issues and is passionate about educating people without being mean or derisive. She is also a talented artist. Justine is a singer and also composes and performs amazing music.
Basically she is Blaine Anderson before Blaine Anderson. She stands up for others, she wants to help everyone, and is a wonderful musician.
She recently rocked her finals and graduated high school! We can't wait to see how this glitzer is gonna rock the world and spread the love :)
