∆THE UNDERWORLD
-a realm created for Garmadon to unleash his evil side as he pleases without hurting any of the other realms
-his realm ended up being the one where souls who have chosen to move on go, leaving him as one of the only alive creatures of the realm
-he got bored of the dead and decided to kidnap a mortal to have fun with, that being Misako
-Stockholm Syndrome style Misako fell in love with Garmadon and had a child
-Lloyd is now the prince of the Underworld
•IGNICIA
-ruled by Ray and Maya Jiang-Smith
-NOT ANYMORE, they got kidnapped by the hands of time (Krux and Acronix) when their kids were 5 and 3 respectively
-the kingdom was left to a temporary supervisor until their oldest son, Kai, would come of age
-Kai was set to marry Skylor from Chen's kingdom when he became king
-Nya was set up for marriage with Prince Naddakhan from the Djinjago realm
-Both of them do NOT agree with these picks 😭 (but they were kids and had no power over those desicions)

Jay-Adopted by two regular people, Ed and Edna, is the long lost son of Libber Snakebit, former ruler over Ninjago City before she mysteriously dissapeared
Zane-built by an underrated scientist in the mountains
Rulers MUST be elemental masters (by Ninjago rules, not all realms have that rule) . Only exceptions are when the person with the elemental power dies and their partner/child is left or when there are no successors after them.
NOT ALL elemental masters are rulers nowadays, due to the rise of rebellion in the more recent generations. But every elemental master was a ruler at some point until something changed
~Zane was given his power by the elemental master of ice like in the og show, master who ruled over the kingdom in those mountains but due to how closed off Zane's father was, none of them recognized him
~Cole's mother was one who's family always carried the guard legacy, so that's how Cole is master of earth and Wu's guard
~Jay is the lost prince bitch isn't it obvious why he has an elemental power?

Protector of the Whispering Woods AU-Main Lore (Part 1)
Hello and welcome to this beautiful au's lore!!
For the new people here, this au is inspired by the two clips posted by Lego about the truth behind the green ninja legacy
Summary: What if Lloyd actually answered the call of the Whispering Woods and became its protector?
Since Lloyd aged up physically the fastest, the call of the Whispering Woods would be sent to him when he reaches the right mental age, that being after the end of S9 of Ninjago.
The call was like an enchanting spell, Lloyd not being able to refuse or postpone it, leaving the ninjas without a heads-up or a goodbye.
Villains don't stop for no one, so our ninja group had to continue dealing with S10 events onwards, meanwhile handling the possible chance to find Lloyd again one day.
With their leader gone, Cole now would take that role for the rest of the main Ninjago show.
Every ninja would process the grief differently, but the one most affected by it would be Kai, as he has adopted Lloyd like a son throughout the course of the first few seasons.
~~MEANWHILE~~
Lloyd has now awoken in the Whispering Woods, being face to face with the Arc Dragon of Life itself, telling him about his duty.
Lloyd of course stayed to help perform the Ritual of Unrooting, but afterwards he was told he cannot leave the forest, as his destiny was to now stay and protect it. Lloyd had no say in the matter, and therefore remained in the Whispering Woods.
As time kept passing, Lloyd kept missing his family back in Ninjago and kept begging the arc dragon to see them at least one last time, to which the arc dragon refused.
The arc dragon has started to see Lloyd's family was becoming a "distraction" from his job as a protector, so a spell was cast on Lloyd, that would make him forget everything he knew about his past life in Ninjago.
After that, Lloyd would only learn to live in the forest.
He was trained by the arc dragon and helped to discover his true potential, that including the dragon transformation.
Lloyd was now living in the forest and its creatures, protecting it from any threats, meanwhile the ninjas were stuck with no way to find Lloyd, as he was sent to a different realm.
~~DRAGONS RISING~~
With Cole now taking responsibility over his family in the Land of Lost Things, Kai has now taken the role of leader in the new ninja group.
After he found his way back from the Land of Monsters, he stayed in Ninjago to fight the merge quakes, later saving Arin, Sora and Riyu to whom he becomes their mentor. (And Wyldfire later too, just like in the original)
Kai would tell them the stories about the legendary green ninja, now having new hope in finding him now that the realms are merged.
Some things remain the same, some things don't.
Kai is now the conduit of the source dragons, but he was still the first to unlock the rising dragon technique. He still gets trapped in the Nether Space in S2 part 2, with Cole taking the master role for the tournament, being the leader of the ninja for one last time.
Things go relatively the same for most of DR, main difference being Kai taking Lloyd's role mostly, until S4.
Kai and Arin have been sent and locked in the Whispering Woods, where they are attacked by none other than its protector, Lloyd.
This is me putting in the most "short end of the story" way as I can, trying to sound professional but also I am not that good at writing out my ideas 😭
What happens after they find Lloyd? Gotta wait for that :)

-this au is combining 2 smaller au ideas:
1. Brothers AU - instead of a father/son type relationship, MK and Wukong are brothers since they were birthed from the same stone (MK somehow being the more responsible one of the two despite being the younger brother)
2. Lost Flame AU (which is now the name of the big au) - taken from the idea of "what if Kai DID lose himself in the Land of Monsters", forgetting who he was before and only knowing he was surviving for someone, but he didn't know who ("I can't lose myself"-Kai, Monstrosity)

∆ LOST FLAME AU (MAIN AU)
-Takes place after S5 of LMK
-The chaos gates have opened, but instead of a big overtake, the chaos starts taking control of the world little by little, taking over everything under people's noses (the prosses taking a couple years to complete)
-While the chaos takes over, our main gang are trying to continue on with their lives
-Now that things are calm for a while, MK has time to process the fact he and Wukong are basically brothers
-The brother tendencies definitely start to be noticed more: Wukong's overprotectiveness over MK, MK's admiration for his older brother/hero, Wukong talking down on MK like a little sibling, MK mocking Wukong and playing with him like a little sibling
-Also during this time, Red Son heard about what happened at the pillar and realizes just how much he actually cares for MK after he hears about him sacrificing himself (starting to catch feelings)
-MK starts learning about demon culture from Macaque and Red Son, things like glamouring, pairing season and courtnapping
-Red Son starts showing more affection towards MK and becomes protective of him, which definitely gets MK to fall for the fire demon and experience the courtnapping thoughts (Red Son's literally and figuratively HOT)
-The confession happens after MK is caught trying to courtnap Red Son (which Red let's him do)
-In the meantime, Wukong and Macaque start talking more about MK's whole purpose and powers, trying to figure out what's gonna happen with the chaos now being released
-This will lead to Macaque being able to control and later feel when it reaches Megapolis YEARS later
-MK is also developing his chaos powers, being helped by all the magic weilders around him (Wukong, Macaque, Red Son and Mei)
-A couple years pass and Red Son and MK decide they want to build a family together (before they become aware of the chaos threat)
-They got married, and about a year later decide to have a child (*hits MK with the mpreg gun *)
-That's how Kai was born, a child inheriting fire and chaos, heir to the demon bull family throne and an heir of the Monkie King's (MK still kept the title of Monkie Kid)
-They all have a happy family life until the chaos energy starts almost taking over the whole realm
-The chaos realm has become strong enough to open all the realms' gates, sending random people into other realms
-In trying to protect him, Kai still ends up falling into one of the gates
-MK is so devastated, that gave him the strong enough will power to stop the chaos from spreading any further, sealing all of it in his soul
-Victory could not be celebrated however, as Kai was still in who knows what realm, lost and all alone...
-5 year old Kai wakes up in the realm of Ninjago (glamoured, completely forgetting he had it as the years went on)
-He ended up right in front of the house of the blacksmiths
-There, he only finds a 3 year old Nya, crying as her parents were nowhere to be seen
-Kai, now also not having his parents, sympathizes with Nya and he ends up taking care of her, leading to their older brother×younger sister dynamic developing as the years went on
-Story goes the same way from the pilot onwards, only difference being that Kai wants to help find Nya's parents because at least her parents are in the same realm as her
-He still holds the grudge against them because he didn't know why Nya's parents left her and since he's protective of Nya, ofc he would still attack them when finding them like in canon
-Maya and Ray are thankful to Kai for taking care of their daughter and try to get close to Kai like their own son, but Kai won't let go from the fact his real parents are still out there, in a farway realm ...
-Cole has been having feelings for Kai ever since s5, but was too afraid to say anything
-The ninjas are so busy with fighting that it wasn't until s11 that Kai also realized his feelings for Cole and by the end of the season they end up together
-Things go mostly the same for the rest of the show, until Dragons Rising (biggest difference being Kai and Cole dating ofc)
-Kai spends a lot more time in the land of monsters unlike in the show (8 years), trying to hold onto the hope of finding the ninjas again, and the little memory of his real parents he's had since before he got sent to Ninjago (he is also now unglamoured as the merge broke the spell)
-The time spent in a land of literal monsters gets Kai to concentrate on fighting for a hope he's slowly starting to forget
-He finds that he can't remember who he once was, only having that constant need to survive
-He starts to lose himself, his morals shifting from which monsters to kill and which to not kill...
-Then at some point, he finds himself having been teleported to a new place...
-S2 of DR is over, Jay and Kai both haven't been found still
-Cole was just making his way through the Land of Lost Things (LLT), looking for more scrap to give to Fritz and Spitz
-He is taken by surprise when a something new reaches the LLT, this time it being a new person
-Cole doesn't recognize them at first, but when they try to reach them he is then threatened with a firing sword, meaning it could be only one person
-"Kai?..."
"...Who are you."
-Cole tries to get Kai to remember who he was, but Kai has a hard time remembering anything before the land of monsters, besides the fact he was fighting for hope, hope he doesn't remember what for anymore
-Cole takes him to stay with the finders until he can get him to go with him to the monastery
-That eventually happens, and everybody is devastated to find out that Kai had a fate similar to Jay's after the merge
-Kai sticks around because he finally has a nice place to live and has a weird feeling in his stomach that he should stay with them
-Throughout s3 part 1, while the main events are happening, Kai is also getting flashes of memory back as he joins the ninjas in battles, specifically Nya's search party for Jay
-Most of Kai's memories are back by s3 ep 10, except for a missing memory he can't put his finger on
-During the big battle with Thunderfang in s3 ep 10, the ninjas all felt like they were gonna lose, until they are saved by the one and only Monkie Kid
-After Thunderfang's defeat, there was a huge moment of silence as Kai and MK stared at each other
-MK slowly reaches for his son, and eventually hugs a confused Kai
-Kai then gets back the one memory he last needed, the memory he's been holding on all his life, the one hope he's had since he was a youngin...
To find his his family again.
-Kai and the other ninjas are also taken by surprise when Red Son and Mei also show up, joining the family embrace
-Everybody groups back up at the monastery (yes, they also get Rogue with them like in og)
-At the big celebration MK, Red and Mei explain themselves and how they've been travelling through many realms to find Kai (yes this is very SNBP inspired, DEAL WITH IT)
-Everybody also gets to witness the first kiss Kai and Cole have had in years, MK literally about to tear up when he sees his son has a boyfriend
-The events of s3 part 2 go mostly the same, MK joining Lloyd's battle party and Red going with Kai and Cole in the LLT
-The final battle teams to awaken both sides of the Arc Dragon of Focus are the same, but Nya ends up with Kai and Red Son, with Rogue later joining them like in og
-Mei goes with Wyldfire, Sora, Frak and Riyu
-MK ends up helping Lloyd and Arin get through the Spectral Lands and helps them find their harmony to control the Arc Dragon of Focus once awakened
-After Thunderfang's final defeat, the groups all end up lost in their respective realms like in the og

∆FUN FACTS
-I just get the fucking sweet romantic SpicyNoodles I crave after making my first one aroace×bi (not saying I don't like writing that either, it's smth unique and I'll always love it)
-So what if I lied to you and I made Kai defeat the ice emperor in s11 and by the end the first lip kiss between Kai and Cole happens, ok? Ok
-Kai is ofc a monkey and bull hybrid still
-Mei was the best aunt ever and the only one who could handle Kai when babysitting bc he's basically Red Son and MK in one (and she is already used to them separately)
-Before the merge, the Traffic Light Trio travelled with sigils between realms
-After the merge, the moment they heard of the only elemental master of fire that helped save Ninjago they immediately knew what realm to check next (their search started at the end of s1)
-The merge was a new kind of chaos energy MK didn't know how to control, so that's why he didn't do much to help stop it
-Kai and Red Son end up being the best father/son fire duo, at least until Kai adopts Wyldfire (then it's a whole trio)
-Wyldfire was a menace for most of DR as Kai wasn't there to be her mentor. She only started to chill when they were out learning the rising dragon move
-Since Kai was not there for the rising dragon training, none of the ninjas ended up learning the move before the blood moon, and only learned it in times of desperation just like in the show
-Kai does get to learn the rising dragon move in the second half of s3 thanks to Rontu having joined them at the monastery after Egalt's death
-Kai hasn't really had time to start training his powers before he was taken to Ninjago. When Wu found him, he could only sense the fire in Kai, not the chaos deep within him, waiting to be unleashed
-Kai remembered Cole thanks to Nya, who mentioned their loving relationship before the merge
-At the party after Thunderfang's first defeat in s3 ep10 is when Kai actually confesses how he remembers him, and that's how the kiss happened
-MK starts taking action once he sees Kai weakened by Thunderfang, filling him with the same determination like when he lost him
