Ah here the thing though, people sometimes like showing the mutant aspects of their troll? I know what you were getting at but I do think its a good idea! Though not everyone has to do it. For example theres a bunch of mutants in the community who don't hide it, unless the creator /made/ them anon. Such as blood/skin/hue discolourations or just weird mutations like 4 eyes! / v \;;

Oh no, I totally get that! But the thing is, or at least, I try to go by some basics of "If it's going to get them smeared into paste, they will probably hide it in public."

Like example: a lot of the limebloods in the community don't show people their eyes, unless they are close friends they trust. They are thought to be "extinct," so they can't go around showing off that color. The Heiress purposely had them wiped out, or so she thought. The mother grub could have easily held onto some genetics, waiting for the right time to introduce them into society again. Or at least, that's my headcaonon on it.

Some trolls with multiple eyes besides the regular two, hide it with glasses, or bandage them up. If that's a cullable offense or not is up to the imagination and interpretation of their creator though, since canon never...really discussed what were cullable offenses besides not having quadrants and off-spectrum blood.

So basically, it's really up to the creator to decide if they think their troll's mutation is something dangerous enough to their health to hide. I'm not going to go chastising some individual person over it, that'd be rude. Heck, I have an albino with pink eyes for crying out loud. I just heave a bit of a sigh when I see some neon-eyed troll running around that has multiple, significant mutations, and they act as if nothing is wrong. Alternian society doesn't seem that accepting in the least, so it just kind of rubs me the wrong way.
