Any fics where either Kurt or Blaine is a selective mute/ refuses to speak due to trauma or something? I read one a while ago where Kurt transferred to Dalton where he met Blaine who only communicated through written notes until Kurt got through to him and he started speaking again. I would love to read any others with a similar trope. Thank you!

Hi! I was wondering if you could help me find a fic on ff net. Kurt got attacked by Karofsky and he couldn’t speak anymore bc his vocal chords were damaged, he moved to dalton and had a notebook he carried so that he could talk to others. Nearing the end, blaine is about to get hit by a car and then kurt screams out his name and everyone’s super shocked bc they thought the mute thing was permanent. Thank you so much in advance, I don’t really know how to work ffnet yet.

i know that you posted this fic before but i completely forget the title basically kurt lost his voice but got it back and rachel was really mad kurt wouldn’t join the new directions and her, santana and kurt fought at regionals about it

I'm almost positive that the Mute!Kurt fic where Kurt screams Blaine's name when he almost gets hit by a car is The Silence of His Love by zoeluzianne. (There is a similar scene in Strangled Words but the anon said it wasn't that fic, so The Silence of His Love seems like the one they are looking for)
