It hadn’t taken long for the news that Cheshire had awakened one of Ludger Kresnik’s clones to spread through Karmic Sense. So Basilisk needed to see what had his friend and partner in such a bizarre mood. Everything about Cheshire had been stilted since awakening the clone he was calling Junco.

Something about ‘not wanting to give him the same name as Ludger’ and ‘avoiding confusion’.

Maybe Cheshire was getting soft? Basilisk didn’t know.

He poked a few buttons on the pad and entered the room, eyes settling on the young man before him. Physically identical to Ludger in every way, though Cheshire had mentioned that he didn’t really...talk.

His headrested on the couch, holding his forehead in slight pain. Lately, Julius hadbeen experiencing headaches and fatigue – though he always excused himself by havinga tough time at work to avoid any questions from everyone. He worked too hard,exhausted himself with assignments and late nights working on reports, ofcourse he'd be fatigued by the end of the day. Julius closed his eyes, tryingto just make this headache of his go away– just go away.

There wasa tap on his shoulder, and Julius opened up a single eye, spotting his brotherwho was sporting a concerned look at his face. It took a bit of processing andstaring at his brother's hands to figure out what exactly Ludger was signing. "Are you sure, Ludger?" hesaid, pulling a hand away from his warm forehead – was he coming down with afever? "I'm fine just staying hereon the couch…" And he was too tired to get up and walk anywhere else.

Perv felt the warm body of his counterpart nestle beside him - it was cold in the apartment today, and so, the two Ludgers had the brilliant idea of making a cozy blanket fort in the living room. It was in great view of the TV too, and somehow they found some nice large floor pillows. With this warm body right beside him, perhaps this was his most brilliant idea yet.
