Malik wasn’t exactly happy that it was his birthday, but he wanted to at least do something nice for himself rather than continue to wallow in misery. It had been quiet for him and Kek through the week. There had even been a time when they were comforting each other due to nightmares. As complicated as their relationship was, Malik was actually happy that he wasn’t spending his birthday alone.
So, to show his appreciation, he busied himself making food that reminded him of Egypt. He may have been feeling a little homesick. The one thing he missed the most aside from his siblings was the food.
So, whenever Kek decided to leave his room, he’d definitely walk into the sounds of cooking and the smells of koshary, falafel, and baklava.
