Not really a request or a commision. More of an idea. What's your opinion on a gender/role swap of Adam and Blake? Where Blake is a guy, Adam a girl, but Adam was the one who left the White Fang? Thoughts?

I agree 100% with you. Raven did -not- kill Summer Rose. It's likely Salem's group did. Hazel once said "We've dealt with her kind before." This was referring to Ruby's eyes, of which I am 99.9% sure Summer also had those eyes. Salem's group "dealt" with Summer. Feel free to make this public.

I feel the same was as well, but I think I am done arguing with this person about it.  I keep refuting what they say, but their mind is made up that Summer was killed by Raven.  

Like even using the evidence that I have been saying as not to argue that their right.  It’s just one of those shrug and move on things.

People love villainizing Raven because she abandoned Yang, so as long as they get to blame Raven for something they didn’t do, their happy.  I don’t many really care that canonically, she’s a bandit.  They love other villains who do way worse!

Ooc: Hello! I realize I'm a Sephiroth, but i don't hang around any one fandom. I float around. That said, I saw what you put in your tags. Ruby, Weiss, and Blake all deserve to be in Beacon. Here's why. Blake wasn't "put" in Beacon. She tested in. Ozpin said as much when he talked with her. He knew she was a Faunus, and outright stated she passed with flying colors. Weiss got to beacon not through wealth, but as a way to distance herself from her Father. I'll continue in another ask. One sec.

i was a bit confused by what you meant at first because i don’t think i’ve ever intended or implied that those three don’t deserve to be at Beacon - but i’ve just checked the notes and i think you’re responding to this reblog?

the three do deserve to be at Beacon, but i do think it’s important to acknowledge that Yang is the only main character we know for definite got into Beacon through the proper channels (she graduated from a combat school, she wasn’t under different circumstances, she just worked her way through school and got in the regular way)

Blake, yes, got in through the entrance exams with no prior qualification, just based on skills acquired through growing up outside the Kingdoms and being part of the White Fang; there’s nothing wrong with getting in based on acquired skill (though we hear from Ozpin that this only happens with a few students), as not everyone has the same circumstances (Blake, and possibly Nora and Ren due to them both being orphans, have been in situations where they’ve had to take care of themselves outside the safety of the Kingdoms, they’ve had to acquire the skills in the field as opposed to in a classroom)

Weiss, we don’t know for definite, however due to her family’s wealth, we can actually presume she had access to private tutoring so she could excel (as Jacques was fine with her attending a combat academy, he just wanted her at Atlas where he could keep an eye on her and prevent her from embarrassing the family, she had to past a test that was stacked against her in order to attend the school of her choice). it’s reasonable to assume she had some additional benefits with her training because regardless of her home situation she’s still in a position of exceptional privilege

as for your last point, that’s actually incorrect

Ruby got in for her eyes and skills, yes, but not to keep her away from Salem (as Salem didn’t know Ruby existed until Cinder was injured) - which also makes it sound like you’re saying she doesn’t deserve to be at Beacon if that was the real reason - Ozpin only found out about Ruby after her encounter with Roman and Cinder, she stopped a robbery and demonstrated exceptional combat skill (similar to Qrow), Ozpin only noting the silver eyes when he actually met her. given how useful her abilities are and the implication that Summer was most likely on mission for Ozpin when she died, the implication is that Ruby was boosted ahead two years and got into Beacon because Ozpin wanted to make use of her Silver Eyes. he didn’t want to protect her, he wanted to train her up and use her as quickly as he could

the point i’m making is that it’s important to acknowledge that Yang got into Beacon through hard work, training and study at a combat school and passing the exams, she got through and put in the work she needed to do in order to get where she is, without benefiting from special recommendation (Ruby), coming from a privileged environment with greater access to training resources (Weiss), global renown or reputation (Pyrrha), or any of that helping her. because a lot of the time Yang is dismissed or mischaracterised as this idiot slacker that doesn’t try when there’s nothing in canon even suggesting that (and indications that she has and does put in a lot of hard work to get where she is in pursuit of her own goal)

the actual idiot slacker that doesn’t try is also the only person who actually doesn’t deserve to be at Beacon - Jaune. he committed fraud to cheat his way into the school to fuel his own egocentric need to be a ‘hero’ (and not to help people or anything selfless, it’s because he’s a glory hound), he’s shown sleeping in class when it’s obvious he doesn’t know or care to know, Pyrrha has to force him to study and take his comics away and he never had to own up to the authorities that he did something horrendously selfish and stupid, not only insulting everyone who put in the time and work to get into Beacon but also endangering the lives of himself, his team and anyone he might try to save because he doesn’t know what he’s doing and never put in the effort to find out, he just figured picking up a sword and being able to swing it was enough

A Haven Intruded

Sephiroth's search for purpose was unending. He wandered all over Gaia, making a name for himself as a hooded mercenary by the name of "Seraph." Every day his mind replayed those words the Last Cetra spoke to him. Something he must do? What possible use did the Planet have need of someone like him? The same person who very nearly annihilated the Planet at the mercy of a Parasitic alien? No, he knew better. He was beyond redemption. Yet, he still chose to seek it. Today he'd been contacted through a burner phone for a new job. So he found himself in Junon, waiting quietly to speak with his latest client at the inn. 'Perhaps this will be it. My redemption.' Thought the cloaked former General. ---- The mission his client had tasked him with was simple in theory. Missing persons. Apparently for a while now people had gone missing in the forests west of Junon. Which in and of itself didn't seem unusual. It was likely a territorial monster that moved into the area. His primary objective was to first discover the source of the disappearances and report back. His secondary objective was to eliminate it if possible. He doubted it would be difficult. Based upon the reports, he was able to narrow down the disappearances to a specific region within the forest..Calmly and without fear he strode through the forest, observing the environment with a keen eye for signs of monster activity. 'No more than usual.' He mused, which was strange. Perhaps this mission would be more complicated after all? He hoped not. He was broken from his musings when he caught sight of a peculiar formation of boulders. "Hmm... A gap?" He muttered as he knealt down. Carefully he held his hand in the gap and narrowed his gaze thoughtfully at the feel of cool air. That meant there was something on the other side. It would be a tight fit for one of his size. But doable. Turning sideways he slowly shifted through. It was slow going, and more than once he cursed his size. Until finally he made it through. What he found genuinely surprised him. A house. Hidden within the forest, and Garden teeming with well tended plant life. He cautiously approached, his sharp eyes scrutinizing everything. There had to be a clue here. Perhaps someone he could talk to? He hoped they were friendly, whoever they were.

Suddenly things that never mattered were starting to matter.

The mornings spent sleeping in. The morning dew clinging to her window. Smiles of strangers in the distance. The texture of the sand and she clenched her hands into fists.

And handshake. A promise. A gift.

Suddenly everything mattered. There was no ranking to sort them by importance. Suddenly it all matter. Every memory and fleeting thought had come screaming back to her. Pushing her. Guiding her limbs as she kicked and clawed her way free. This had been her grave. This had been her hell and she would be free of it. Every happy face and voice no matter how small was backing her and driving her up. There was and end to this beach, this shore of living nightmares couldn't contain her any more. She would be free. She would fix this. Every word echoed in her ears and no matter how the darkness whispered its lies to her, nor clung and ripped at her body, it could not hold her. Every screech from it brought one of her own, brimming with righteous fury.

Every mistake that had lead to this place would be undone. Every ounce of regret was shed in that moment as something pulled at her heart. Maybe it was the Master Keeper in her hand, maybe it was the pair of lights in the distance always keeping watch over her, maybe it was the thought of a child she promised to guard and keep safe. A spell or charm were mere tricks in place of now. In place of action.

Every part of it mattered. Her mind was overwhelmed as her thoughts and dreams and memories all came crashing into each other. She felt like her heart was ready to rip from her chest, not from claws or blades, it was being prompted by it's own fury, it's own light. It was pulling where her body lagged behind.

Take me with you.

And the night sky had never been such an achingly beautiful sight.

The forest had become a new battleground; a massive chasm opening up within it as Aqua ripped through into this world. Every bit of magic and fire that had raised her from the darkness had erupted around her. She was the fire. In this massive gaping wound she'd wrought she stood amiss it and every creature of the darkness that had tried to hold her back and consume her was there, too. Each one clawing their way towards her or cowering from her. She was her own light, bright and unyielding to the monsters that had kept her trapped for so long.

Her mind was overwhelmed but her body knew how to act. She'd been fighting for ten years. She never stopped fighting. The battleground was a new one but it was no longer something of the darkness. No more advantages. No more tricks of sight or memory. While her mind marveled at the possibilities, her body moved. She was a churning current of destruction weaving a warpath through the droves of Heartless. Her light tore through the merciless beings and in their wake a flood of glittering hearts alighted into the night sky.

When the dust had settled and the magic had paused, she stood among a scant few monsters. These were bigger than the others, more monstrous and capable of surviving the first initial blow. Both red and yellow eyes zeroed in on her. Neoshadows, Invisibles, Wyverns, Defenders, Hunter of the Dark... too many she had to fight. Too many with names unknown to her that bore the same fate.

Aqua flew into the fray with a roar, her weapon bright with blinding white light.

Every last bit of Darkness here would fall beneath the blade of her fallen Master.

(Easy, Easy, I meant no harm. I apologize for my tone, I assure you it's not how I intended it. I'm a bit socially awkward so things don't always come out how I want, and tone is very hard for me to pin down through text. Like I mentioned before in my last, I thought it didn't seem like true hate, but I thought there could be more that I didn't know. I didn't want to pry, see. You say they've been an issue for some time, so that definitely means it's hate.)

Do I know you? Why do you have the need to stick your nose in my business? Do you follow me? Do I follow you? This is a weird way to start a conversation.

This is an issue thats been going on behind the scene for a while. I don’t understand why you feel the need to insert yourself and add your two cents in something you’re not even apart of? It’s not even a social awkwardness thing, it’s more of a manners sort of thing? 

A good way would to DM me and ask me what the hell was going on if you felt the need to pry instead of assuming off one ask. Again if you really feel the need to be nosy. 

But I don’t recommend it. This is a rabbit hole you don’t wanna jump in

It’s fine, I guess. I’m a pretty chill person, this just baffled me. I came back after an hour of FFXIV to see this and I’m just confused.
