Anyone have weird little self indulgent headcanons with their ships? Anyone? Like, doesn’t have to be perfect canon just make you happy stuff?

Like my VC otp I love the idea that Mael, who I see as quietly passionate until he explodes, does so in more than anger. Like sometimes he’s just doing his own thing then suddenly has strong desire to just be near/nuzzle/cuddle his partner like a weird ass touch starved tiger. One moment quiet and tending to himself then bam! Suddenly close and arms encircling from nowhere. And it would surprise Marius the first few times, even once prompting both a (slightly over enthusiastic) push away and a phone call to question Jesse who just laughs with a ‘that’s pretty normal’ comment.

I like fun headcanons like that. Tag me in any fun headcanons, I don’t care what characters or pairings. FEED ME all that!

And with all the random MariusxMael stuff that takes up 90% of my page, be thankful it ain’t the ungodly amount of quick fluff scribbles I make just to entertain myself. Noregrets!

Dragon Therapy

Please show me pretty calming dragons, I could use the help. More info under the cut because advice would be welcome as well.

This is probably not the best place to post it since this is a FR blog, but does anyone have experience with dissociative episodes? times when you do things but feel like someone else is “at the wheel”, so to speak? I’m really struggling to get a handle on what’s going on with me and any advice/encouragement would really be appreciated because I feel like I’m losing my mind and it’s so difficult to explain what’s going on.

I don’t know how much of it is me just being slow to react or what’s me actually being an ass and not taking responsibility later and I can’t get a handle on it. I don’t even know if I’m using the right words for what’s going on, but since I know I have dissociated before, once it was an out of body experience during a particularly horrible event, and another I lost all grasp of time when I was put in a position where I would have been forced to confront that in a way that was out of my control. When I’m having more general trouble, I feel like my brain shuts down and all of the nice bits of myself disappear and are replaced with some horrible, damaging automated system that has never done anything but get me into more trouble. Yes, I need to learn better ways of dealing with things, but there’s really no reasoning with me when this is going on.  It’s painfully slow to get one point across, much less the nuance that is involved in dealing with people’s emotions. When I say my brain shuts down, I mean it takes me a minute just to get one thought to come out of my mouth, maybe more. And unless I take great care to keep it in my mind, I forget large parts of whatever stressed me out enough to get me into that state once the stress has passed.

So if anyone has anything that might help please tell me because I don’t really know what’s going on and it’s trashing me emotionally.
