So Scrooge runs a bistro in Twilight Town in KH3, which I'm scooping right up for this AU tyvm. I still love the idea of Daisy's Diner though. But they have two different vibes and towns have lots of restaurants. I imagine the Diner is where the kids tend to go, while the Bistro is more upscale and where adults go for a Nice Dinner™.

Random thought: would it be too stupidly cliche for Daisy's diner to actually be called Daisy's Diner?

Probably, but that’s also why it’s probably perfect? I mean I smiled really wide when I read it, and when that happens things usually stick. Also I’ve pretty much been referring to it as “Daisy’s diner” in my head this whole time as a descriptor, so may as well capitalize that second D and make it a real name.

I bet the sign and some of the décor have flowers on them, so some people mistakenly think it’s the “Daisies Diner” and have one of those tiny “mind blown” moments when they realize the owner is named Daisy. XD Oooh and whenever someone questions her on how she runs things (especially Donald), she’s like “Oh I’m sorry, what’s the name of this restaurant again?” “….” “Come on.” “….*sigh* Daisy’s Diner.” “And don’t you forget it, bub.” Also it’s a fabulous excuse for Kairi’s obligatory half-apron thing to have flowers all over it, a la her Keyblade. Lol, also Axel’s. But he rocks it. B)

Buncha bros makin' lewd gestures at their waitress Kairi while her back is turned, so Axel stomps over and busses their table even though they're clearly only halfway through their meals. They try to complain to the manager, but it's Daisy Duck (or whatever I'm changing their last name to) so when Axel explains she just kicks those bros right the fuck out. And Kairi is annoyed that Axel didn't tell her and let her handle it herself, but Axel points out that they work in a restaurant and blood splattered all over the place wouldn't be very hygienic.

I was wondering if you were planning on changing Donald, Daisy and Clarabelle's last name, like you did with The Majesty's? Cos I was thinking you could change them so they still sound similar to what they originally are. Like Clarabelle Cow, could now be Clarabelle Cowell. And Donald Duck could now be Donald Duke?? Or something like that. I dunno you choose lol. Also are Officer Goof and Clarabelle dating here like they are in the animated show? Always thought it was a strange one but oh well.

Ah! I was gunna, but the combination of indecisiveness and a bad memory meant I keep putting it off and then forgetting *facepalm*

For Clarabelle I had been thinking of just changing the spacing and making her Clara Bellcow (possibly pronounced "Bell-co") but I like yours better because the other adults can still call her Clarabelle. She probably tries to get Riku to stop calling her "Ms. Cowell" too, but it takes a long time to stick (just like Mrs. Strife vs Suzanne).

For Donald (and Daisy) and Goofy I was mostly just thinking to keep the pronunciation (or close to) but change the spelling. Dux instead of Ducks, Gouffe instead of Goof. I'm not a linguist though so I'm not sure how I should be spelling "Gouffe" so it could conceivably be pronounced like "Goof." Anyone have a thought?

As for Goofy and Clarabelle being a thing, I have an intense love for that Three Musketeers movie wherein they get together, so I'm totally onboard with them maybe dating a bit. But historically she's also dated Horace Horsecollar, so I don't think she and Goofy would be endgame in this 'verse. Especially since I also really adore that librarian lady Goofy gets with in An Extremely Goofy Movie. But life is long and dating is temporary so yeah yeah I dig it :D

Little suggestion for you. Feel free to disregard it, if you don't like it. But how about making a humanised Daisy Duck or Clarabelle Cow the boss at the sweet shop Riku works at. It could fit. Also there is a major lack of female side characters in this universe. Not your fault I know, due to there being more male characters anyway. But yeah. That's my thought.

*FALLS OUT OF CHAIR* CLARABELLE COW, MY HOMEGIRL, HOW DID I FORGET HER, DISHONOR ON MY... COW...But yes YES omg. Both ladies need to turn up for sure. I almost want to say they run the shop together because it seems like the kind of enterprise two friends would want to start together. Maybe they were counting on Horace Horsecollar to be their strongman to help set up but circumstances changed so they had to seek out new help. Clarabelle Cow though, oh my gosh she's like perfect. Tbqh I was picturing the owner as a bit like Misuzu Sonoda from Ouran High School Host Club, the owner of that little B&B. Romantic and a little gossipy and *waves hands around because I can't words* frilly? On the other hand, I've been complaining about limiting my characters via repeat jobs, so Daisy should work somewhere else. Some kind of position like she had in House of Mouse? Maybe she runs the diner that Kairi and Axel work at? !And yes you are 200% correct, there is a severe overabundance of dicks on this dance floor.
