Ellie Scotney outpoints Mayelli Flores to become undisputed super bantamweight champ
Unless Flores KOed Scotney, there was 0 chance of her winning on the road but two judges giving Scotney a 100-90 scorecard is insane. BBBOC continues to be awful.
Great fight though. Props to Scotney for fighting through that torrid pace that Flores put on her. Eventually was able to build enough respect that she could move her feet and repeatedly force Flores to reset, allowing her to beat Flores to the punch instead of hanging out in the pocket for 2 minutes. Not that Scotney didn't do well either. A shame Flores just isn't a puncher like that.
