He raised his head up, only to glance over at the male for a couple of seconds before his attention falls back to the ground. His fingers brushed against the supplies - the scissors, the hair products, and the hair tools - while in deep thought. This happiness the male was talking about, was never going to come true. At least not until the overthrow. Even then, what vampire truly experiences happiness? There were aspects in his personal life that brought him true joy; that made him laugh with no care of this world, as if all the troubles and worries vanish when around a certain few, but life was a scary place. 

He shifted his weight against one of the empty salon chairs and crossed his arms around his chest. “To be honest bro, happiness sounds so comforting; sounds peaceful. But, I’m afraid I got myself way too deep in this mess to even consider happiness as one of the outcomes. But you know, I’m cool with that. I’m still living, no?” A weak smirk crept across his face as he points to a black salon apron hanging on one of the many hangers in the closet. “Do I really have to put that on? This is so not --” He complained, but his fingers had already latched around the apron, ready to gently pull the apron off. Besides, he was in disguise. 

Words spread that one of the major leading group of Busan drug cartel was coming down to Taka’s hair salon to get his hair done; or maybe this was all Ezra’s doing - one of his many manipulative tactics to fish out information. He had power in the underground world, it wouldn’t be a surprise if his words spread to Busan and sent false information. Though, it wasn’t all false. Taka was a talented hairdresser and stylist. He’d transform the ugly ass into a whole new person after one session - so if anything, Ezra was doing the Busan man a favor. 

“All we gotta do is force information out of his mouth through a casual conversation, possibly hide this small voice recording chip somewhere in his clothes, and I promise, this will be my last time using your salon to secretly meet the higher ups.”
