“why should i tell you what i think about her?” he asks with suspicion since he’s not supposed to speak about hyejin. no one is supposed to know how he feels about her, but seeing as confidentiality is assured in this very same moment, he figures he can be honest, for once. “she’s the one” he simply states, knowing that they might not believe him. when has he ever admitted something like that? but what else can he say? that he’s madly in love with her? that no other woman has affected him as much as she does? that he can’t stop thinking about her? that he’s willing to go against his father for her? he thinks those words he said previously explain it very accurately. she’s the one for him, the only one.
joowon & chaewon
"ah, my wife she’s... she’s super annoying isn’t she?” he asks with a chuckle, shaking his head “she’s so unique, i think there’s nothing i dislike about her. she’s not like the others you know, even when i don’t know how the others are like i just know chaewon is one of a kind” and he’s pretty sure his wife knows it already. “she is like a storm. you don’t know what to expect from her and she can be tough, but you know, it always ends up with a rainbow or something. oh god that’s so cheesy, don’t tell her i compared her to a rainbow i don’t think she’ll like it”

he looks down, a little embarrassed “she doesn’t know this tho” he starts, wary because he has always thought she should be the one hearing this first. “i’ve been in love with her for so long. she’s just... she’s amazing, you know? in every sense. she’s professional and responsible, she’s funny and smart, she’s gorgeous and kind. she’s... she’s everything a guy could want and... i kinda ruined her life you know? and i feel guilty because... because im happy, i’m getting what i’ve always dreamed and... well, she’s getting me... it doesn’t sound fair at all”

“i... jesus, i don’t really know” he starts, a little confused. “i mean... she’s... she’s just wow and i’m... well” he points at himself as he rubs the back of his neck with a hand “i’m kind of waiting until she figures out that she can do better” and it’s not because he brings himself down, it’s just that he thinks she doesn’t know much about him and once she does, well, her interest will fade away “i guess i feel comfortable with her and she’s... she’s great, i... i like her”

“you want to know what i think of her?” he asks, resting his back against the chair “why should i tell you?” he is not someone to share those thoughts and didn’t he say everything he had to say to eunjung a few nights before “i fancy her” he decides to say, without admitting that he’s like a kindergarten kid who punches the girl he likes and treats her badly just because he’s so into her.

“i’m not supposed to speak about our kids’ fathers” she starts, feeling a little embarrassed. “i don’t know him quite well yet... he seems smart, and he’s such a good father” she says with a smile once she thinks of him around his daughter “he’s... extremely handsome, it’s a little unfair” she says blushing “i don’t know, how am i supposed to answer this?”

“nothing i say here is going to show up in a magazine, right?” haesoo makes sure before she speaks, since she doesn’t want anything to ruin her relationship with hyungsik. “i’m in love with him. you know, like... really in love” she admits with a soft smile “i want to hold his hand all the time and i want to be with him and think of a holiday with him. i want to buy him presents all the time, and i want his smell on my clothes when he’s not around” she continues, giggling softly “i want to make him happy”
