Break Your Heart
And get away with murder

Obi-Wan and Cody sat together in the starfighter. They were on a low profile mission that required only the two of them. They landed in the foggy bog, climbing out as they both put on the hoods of their robes. "Alright, sir, ten clicks south, luckily the fog should hide us," Cody stated as they stepped forward into the wet ground. "I have a bad feeling about this," Cody gritted as he felt himself sink in marsh as he walked.
"Oh, Cody, if we keep moving this will be over soon," Obi-Wan spoke as he grabbed Cody's hand and lead him through the sinking mud. The planet was very gloomy, and a dreary type of cold. The perfect place for any suspicious activity. They'd been sent here to uncover ancient ruins of the Jedi. There was a holocron they were supposed to find here that Grand Master Yoda hid here over seven hundred years ago. "Hopefully we won't uncover anything other than what we came for" he commented as they continued south.
Cody looked around the planet that was seemingly grey. So gloomy and sad. It was raining, not heavy though, more so like a mist. It was very green, but not a vibrant green, a dark olive. The ground was a dark brown, rich in nutrients and very wet, so much that Cody felt like he'd fall through any second. But Obi-Wan didn't share that concern, him holding onto Cody's hand helped him make way through the bog and feel better while doing so.
When they finally stumbled upon the ruins, it was a doorway, that seeming led to no where. But when they stepped in, they were magically in the temple Yoda had described. Ancient stone walls with nature having taken over. Cody sighed when he stepped on solid stone ground. He took off his hood and helmet, it was very humid. He turned to Obi-Wan who'd also taken off his hood, their hair was moist from the planet's dewy air. It wasn't hot, but sweat had made its way to their face. Though they were going further into the cave, it seeming got brighter. "We're close" Obi-Wan told him as he stepped in the main room of the temple. There in the center of the room was a pedestal and the holocron. "Well, that was easy."
Obi-Wan gave Cody a look to stay where he was, Obi-Wan had been told, 'This place, sacred to the Jedi, it is. Only a Jedi will the temple let pass' So to keep Cody safe, he had him stay in the doorway. Cody didn't complain, he watched Obi-Wan carefully before studying the room. It was big, a high ceiling with sun shining in, which Cody found curuous because the sky was dressed in cloud. But he knew it was Jedi-magic so he didn't question it. He then turned his attention to Obi-Wan, he'd sat on his knees and was mediating and the holocron was floating to him. Cody put his helmet back on and turned on the scanner and it picked up heat signatures, lasers or something of the sort. As he waited, Cody felt his comm buzz and checked it.
Soon enough Obi-Wan was walking back to him, holding up the holocron, "Let's get out of here, Cody," he patted his Commander on the shoulder as he put his hood back on. Cody's pupils dilated as he nodded, putting on his own hood and following. They stepped back into the deafening silence of the bog and dared not to make a noise.
As they trudged through the swamp, Cody looked to his blaster, then up to Obi-Wan, "Obi-Wan!" Cody screamed, the Jedi turned around, shocked by his Commander's burst. They stood there in silence for a moment, Obi-Wan waited for him to speak but then Cody aimed his gun at Obi-Wan, he watched Cody carefully and let out his breath as Cody put it down. The Jedi raised an eyebrow, moving closer to Cody in concern.
"Cody? Are you alright? Y- you pointed your gun at me," Obi-Wan looked into Cody's eyes past his visor, trying to scan the man's face for any emotion. Cody stood tall and stoic as the world started going more grey. Suddenly Obi-Wan found himself getting dizzy and fell down into the mud, Cody was then grey just as the planet was, he was not moving and his visor was... glowing. "Cody!" Obi-Wan reached his hand out as he saw the man lift of his blaster. Obi-Wan shook his head, "Oh Cody please! Why?" Cody's hand was shaking as he readied to pull the trigger, "I- I love you!" He cried.
Cody stared blankly at Obi-Wan, feeling nothing from feeling everything. He wasn't himself, but he didn't care. He held his blaster, hand shaking as his finger took its place on the trigger. "Oh, Obi-Wan," Cody mumbled as he took aim, "I love you too," he pulled the trigger
"Now that you're six feet under ground"
