"When he fell asleep, he dreamed the queen of Attolia was dancing in her garden in a green dress with white flowers embroidered around the collar
Value WIP since I'm dragging my feet working on the color version. Added the colored version.

finally drawing again, so here’s this weird piece
A broken perfume amphora for my heart and soul, Irene. A hook for both my trash son, Gen, and for the fandom. Merry Christmas to me!
no resolutions
For reasons I can't even remember, on May 7, 2025, I decided to end my pointless writers block and start writing every day. I started at 100 words a day and am now at 300 words a day with an unbroken streak of 239 days and a total of 66,971 words for the year. In that time I wrote a novella and 11 chapters of a novel. Both are in the same universe and both are in zero draft form and really shitty, but that's cool. I can make them better.
This year I just plan to keep doing what I'm doing. 300 words a day is great. It might seem small, but baby steps have moved me in a direction, and in about 3 more chapters and I'll be done with my book.
I'm going to try to do some new things this year. I'd like to be less lonely. 2025 was insane, I moved to a city I don't really know (and kind of don't love) and was forced to become a supercommuter (97 miles each way per day.) But I do spend the mornings of my commute writing my 300 words, so it's not too bad. Writing is a small constant. I've joined a Romantasy bookclub to meet some people and force myself to read more in the genre I'm partially in and adjascent to. Baby steps. I'd like to have more writing friends. Still working on that.
Happy New Year.
I've loved the Queen's Thief by @meganwhalenturner for a long time! I made a quilt square with Gen's hook and an iris for Irene for my (yet unfinished) fandom quilt 🥰
I'm so tempted to design a new square... maybe with some of Irene's jewelry or Sophos' guns 🤔
Here’s a doodle I did of Gen in the thief—hes such a little shit I love him
Oh, you married the older sister (?) of the friend/crush you connected with on a dangerous adventure as a teenager? She has some gender stuff going on and was pretty much the only person who could get through to him when he was extremely ill after one of the most traumatic experiences of his life? On a scale of Jerott Blyth to Sounis Sophos, how well did it go?
This is my favorite of the Hodder covers! The blue and gold is so beautiful and to me it's reminiscent of the main colors that were in the cover of the Thief edition I first picked up 14 years ago.
