IF YOU HAVEN’T SEEN THE MATRIX THERE ARE SPOILERS AHEAD
I was rewatching fighter to prepare for the comeback let me live and I noticed the scene with the red and blue gummies, a possible reference to the scene with the red and blue pills, which I know a lot of people pointed out. But the scene is switched in this MV. The blue pill, like the flower they eat and the liquid Minhyuk pours in the water, wakes them up and brings them to the real world; out of the matrix. It's why a lot of the mv is blue tinted too. Jooheon is like Morpheus and Minhyuk/Hyungwon are Neo. The rest of MX are Morpheus' squad and the ones that help Neo take down the matrix. If you want their roles I’ll do that in another post thingy.
The weird scene at the end of Fighter when they are all escaping is like when Morpheus and his crew go save Neo from the matrix. I was also thinking it could be like when Neo and the crew saved Morpheus from robot torture, but that would mess with the whole Jooheon is Morpheus thing.
All In is what it's like in the matrix. In the movie the robots said they couldn't make it perfect otherwise, the human brain wouldn't accept the illusion so that's why Hyungwon is abused by his dad/patriarchial figure, why Kihyun has a disability, and why Minhyuk, Wonho, and I.m firebomb Hyungwon's dad's place. And why the old man dies which causes Shownu the muscles to burn the cash money. Now everyone believes Shownu perished in the fire, but I believe he was just sent to jail, where he has been before in the MV timeline. Also if Minhyuk/Hungwon are Neo, then that explains why they aren’t dead either. When Neo was shot by the Agents, in the movie, he wasn’t really killed. That’s what I think happened to Minhyuk and Hyungwon.
I think the blue flower thing is like when Morpheus, Neo and the crew hook up to those machines and go back into the matrix. They are eating/taking the blue flower thing to go back into the matrix and take it down from the inside. I’m thinking instead of robots like in the movie, it’s aliens? Which might explain the weird heart thing? And they are shown fighting in the All In mv with an unknown force, which strengthens this theory.
Now, I know there has been some debate about it, but I also think Fighter is set before All In timeline bc Kihyun is shown all the drug flowers in Fighter then they have the ritual thing in All In. The door to the drug flowers also has an X on it, which I believe the boys adopt as their symbol and begin to call themselves the X clan.
