     Being a drifter meant that staying in one place was something she didn’t have time to stand around because she had much to do not to mention that no demons sleeps, but one thing was for sure that disposing of demons takes an amount of energy and focus because of her powers.

    Not to mention her emotions are the reasons why she is able to control them, because she feels nothing which is much safer and easier to control her powers, however she’s heard rumors of a bookstore and a woman  who keeps lots of spell books even books on demons as well. Making her way to the bookstore she paused for a moment before entering the store, entering caused her eyes to wander to stare at the amount of books she had.

      Making her way over to the front desk she placed her hands on it to try and get her attention, “..I’m here for a book or two, where to the spells and facts of out of control demonized beings?”

Years ago Vergil had sought power in the City Of Capulet, by resurrecting the tower named Temen-Ni-Gru -- a tower that his own father Sparda had sealed away decades ago along with his own devil’s power inside the demon world. Not only did he encounter his younger sibling but he also met a woman named Mary who preferred to be called Lady who was the daughter of his former pawn associate Arkham. In the end Arkham had just been deceiving him which angered the elder son very much. But even with all that stolen power he was easily defeated by him along with his brother Dante. 

That was long ago, the most recent event he had heard about was the incident with The Order Of The Sword in the city of Fortuna. Vergil was unaware of it until an info broker demon had tipped him off thus filling him in for a price. In some occasions, there would be some demons who would betray there masters and go out on their own. Some would cut all connections and wander about the open plains while others would choose to become information brokers --rogue demons who had double crossed their masters that would give information of certain events that might or might not involve others and possibly benefit them but they would only do it for a price. Some asking for money while some wanting human souls. It all depended on what they wanted in compensation for the given info. This one wanted cash which he could easily give.

While laying low in a small rural mountain town miles away from Fortuna, Vergil had heard rumors of a raven-haired huntress in town who was here looking a demon in disguise. He could only assume one person that it could be. It was dusk and the cambion walked the streets hidden within a full body cloak. At this hour not many people were out and most were sleeping in their homes and right now it looked like a ghost town. Suddenly the sound of gunshots shattered the silence of the dead streets. Looking up at the rooftops above his location he saw none other than Lady herself jump across the building to the next and a group of demons followed. That situation had nothing to do with him so he just walked on still covered head to toe in his cloak. As he walked on more demons jumped across the roof in pursuit of Lady, just as he was about to leave the area he felt a hand clamp around his body and pull him up on the roof next to the one Lady was on. Due to the force of the grab he was in air. The force of the grab made him loose his cloak.

Realizing it was a new type of demon that could extend its arms had grabbed him, he teleported out of its hand and appeared behind it still in air then drove his heel down into its back sending it full force towards the ground, He followed through and shifted his weight into a front roll and came down on the demon cutting it in two only detaching from the waist once his blade was sheathed. The same thing happened again but this time he was pulled over to the same building the huntress was on. Mid way there Vergil cut off its arms and back rolled to his feet kicking another demon behind him off the building. Once his boots hit the rooftop he found himself standing a few inches away from Lady whom he unfortunately made eye contact with. There was no use hiding now.

[{☠}] - “Never did I expect I’d run into you again..” The demon greeted with haste sternly as he stood guard waiting for the demons next move.

Freezing fingers coax a flame from the zipo in his hands, muttering a soft thanks at finding success after the third attempt. Inhaling the noxious fumes released by his newly lit cigarette, Constantine sucked in a lungful of cancer as he took a few moments to appraise the scene presented to him. 

The demon standing before him was a ghastly creature, all fangs and claws and reeked of rot. Any sane person would be forgiven to trying to flee, leave with their life still intact. John, however, refused to move; being touched of mind or fearless, one would have difficulty in understanding why the mage hadn’t ran. 

“Ain’t you a sight for sore eyes,” he comments, hands submerging into pockets as he rolled his smoke to the other side of his mouth. “Came up to breathe, did ya?” A scoff is audible just then, before he bounds onto a new point. “Sorry, the air’s already foul enough ‘round here without your ever so freshening scent contributing to the mix. I’ve have a mind to send ya packing for that violation alone, if you can believe it.”

Reacting as if his words had caused grave offence, the demon lashes out, pounding the ground and overturning parked vehicles, causing mayhem in the middle of a quiet town located on the far side of no-where. “Hah! What a laugh. Obstinate like a tot, too. Want uncle Constantine to come over and tuck you in?” He would continue this trend of antagonising the fiend for as long as he remained interrupted; for the blond was bored and had little else to occupy himself with save summoning a demon himself.

HE LOUNGES in the beauty of the moonlight, legs outstretched toward a mass of water that promised energies of serenity and calm; not a sound echoed toward his ears, not a spark of light meeting his gaze. T’was an intense peace, one of haunting proportions - eerie. In silence he observed what was met by his eyes - wildlife in the very distance floundering upon the water, deer pacing the farthest shore. A BEAUTIFUL sight, many would agree, though soon sullied when flocks of birds, starlings, tempered overhead in a great many shapes and distortions; frightened by the mass, the young deer fled and the male of whom had been observing in such perfect silence was drawn to the pacing of footsteps near to his seated position. A CHOICE was made not to move, to linger and wait; to allow fate to decide what would happen that evening with promises of conversation or conflict. Still - his hand remained rested nonchalantly upon Cerberus, just to be sure that he would react swiftly if the deities above decided that it would instead be yet another test on his abilities.

The hollow didn’t notice the short woman following him, he was instead occupying himself with a small feline creature that could detect ghosts, watching it mew at him and play among the garbage in the alley they were in.
