Back on my inspired bullshit.
The JHS rabbit hole is a deep one.
Early in 2024, MXR released the Joshua Ambient Echo, recalling the TC Electronic 2290, one of the rack units used by the Edge on Joshua Tree
Major laughs watching this MXR Joshua Ambient Echo demo (because I find these guys funny). The pedal itself sounds incredible and it’s wild they packed that much into a regular enclosure.
Best is hearing Josh finally giving in to the awesomeness of stereo effects, which I finally gave in on back in January when I got the JC-22.
One of the best pedals of the last fifteen years now available in mini-form. Neat.
Only missing thing is a exp out to plug a tap tempo.

I cannot overstate how incredible this pedal is. I felt the same way about the Hall of Fame reverb when I first got it, but there's something guttural about this puppy that just roars.
It. Has. Arrived. Got a phone call from my favourite rep at the guitar shop and ran right over. It was a long work day so I was itching to plug it in, counting down the hours and minutes like repeats on the pedal. I just spent the last hour playing it through my Fender Excelsior and those gnarly decaying repeats have me rah rah rah. Need to spend more time with the div setting but boy oh boy was this worth the wait.
Oh sweet Jesus. Apparently they've been shipped. At this time next week the apartment's gonna be shimmering with regens.
