There’s a jar on the mantelpiece in the common room full of her hair that they keep finding in the oddest places.
Dew chirping to find her when he has a massive knot in his hair, only to remember. No one has claws as gentle as hers.
Cirrus and Rora putting each other’s veils on. They’re each other’s wives now.
Cumulus’s fiber art projects gathering dust. No one has the heart to throw them out or the skill to finish them.
The pests in the kitchens and the corridors getting increasingly cocky, knowing the terrifying huntress is gone.
Cumulus’s legion of stuffed animals stands in silent vigil, waiting for their mistress to return. Some will grace the nests of her former packmates, some will comfort scared kits and new summons, but her favorite, a ratty snow leopard, has a new place next to Cirrus’s pillow, doused in tears every night.

Tiny deku wants to be a hero
His quirk never manifests
He starts taking notes and drawing his fav heroes
He meets All Might
“You can’t be a hero” - All Might
He is destroyed just as much as he was canonly
Kacchan is attacked by the sludge guy
Before Deku could move to save Kacchan, All Might to the rescue.
Deku gives up on being a hero (if he couldn’t work up the nerve to help his friend then there is no way he could be a hero)
He still loves the idea of heroes, so he keeps drawing them and taking notes of them.
He eventually asks for a camera cuz taking pictures of AM in dynamic poses is faster than drawing them,
While Kacchan goes to UA, Deku goes to a regular high school and takes every photography class he is able to.
Years later, Kacchan is graduated, along with the rest of class 1A and become Pro Heroes. Deku graduates and starts taking pictures of heroes for magazines and websites professionally while he goes to college. (This is moderately successful. He is also making a name for himself, slowly. After all, he gets shots not a lot of others do.)
He uses a pseudonym for his pictures because he can. The pseudonym is Deku.
His favorite shots to take are pictures of heroes after battles, where their clothes are tattered and bloody and lips are split. He likes taking pictures of heroes radiating victory.
He takes a lot of heart wrenching photos. Pictures of ruined buildings. Pictures of injured civilians. Pictures of heroes sobbing over motionless bodies.
He also takes a lot of happy or cute photos. Heroes hugging civilians, children being reunited with their families.
He runs into Kacchan often, because Katsuki is the rookie who is making a name for himself so he is basically everywhere.
He takes pictures of all of class 1A who went pro though. (Plus some.)
Takes the literal Best pictures of All Might.
Because Deku never forced Kacchan to see that he wasn’t completely useless and because he never assumed the role of rival in Kacchan’s life, when the two later run into each other later in life, their relationship is still shit.
I'm talking Deku is taking pictures of Kacchan during a fight and Kacchan literally collides with him when the person he is fighting bitch smacks Kacchan through a building, and then Kacchan proceeds to cuss Deku out for getting in the way again, even after all these years.
Deku totally gets a picture of Kacchan’s resulting broken nose and the blood flowing down his face. (((Deku may have a problem.)))
And then he gets a picture of Kacchan punching the fuck out of the person he is fighting.
Any hero Deku takes a picture of basically gets a boost in popularity because Deku is just that good.
Deku has a fanbase. (Nothing too big but enough to consider it a fanbase.) He has a blog that he posts all of his pictures, not just the ones news networks pay for. His fans all beg to see his face on the daily and he always refuses because he believes they should follow him for his photos, not his face.
None of his fans know anything about him, only that he makes vague quotes on his photos.
