Also since I’m not sleeping, little rant time abt fandom stuff on TT since I legit am done w it !!
People on tt are too fucking mean… like it’s genuinely gone to shit after 2020, and I don’t wanna be THAT person but newer fan trying to police fandoms on literally just shipping two characters is really getting annoying. I have seen a video of a perfectly fine ship and then people telling op to kill themself in the comments. I’VE been told to kill myself over posting ship stuff, mainly Kirona.
It just gets to a point, I’m tired of it, I’m tired of all the shipping wars and death threats circling around over fiction ships.
Headcanons are also smth that apparently “isn’t allowed” with some of these newer fans, god forbid you headcanon a character as trans because you’ll be hunted at the stake for it. “Actually that character wouldn’t be *insert queer label* !!” Please, please shut the fuck up. Let people have headcanons no matter how “true” it is to you or to the canon plot, let people have fun and joy and whimsy, people know headcanons aren’t actual canon (´ー`)
(Real ship ranting time oh god) Plus generally overall again with ships, people in wars debating how it would never work out or flat out saying it’s awful because of one small detail. I’ve gotten people telling about how Kirona is one of the most unrealistic ships that could happen in soul eater, and ykw? Yes, I partially know that. I know it’s unrealistic, yet somehow, their writing matches each other perfectly. Take this with a grain of salt, I’ve watched the anime and I’m currently on book 12 of the perfect edition volumes + I know some spoilers n stuff. People saying Kid would probably have a nightmare over Crona’s appearance due to their hair being asymmetrical always baffle me, because there was no mention of that even in the scenes were they had seen each other and interacted. The only times that I remember him being finicky with people’s appearances (NOT their clothing) was with Liz and Patty + the Mummy in his chapter debut, with Gopher and his smile, and if it needs to be noted, himself with the stripes in his hair. In no other instance I can remember him judging people on their physical appearance. And this is just ONE of the things I can rant about. I CAN go on more, but I’m on the verge of passing out so I’m gonna wrap this up, maybe another time I can discuss their parallels and how they’re so opposite of each other yet so so similar and alike !!
I have genuinely contemplated not posting any more content on tt simply for all the negativity and hate, I’m unphased to death threats but it literally gets tiring after seeing the 5th one in my dms that day, or even seeing if I got doxxed over a ship *coughcoughkironacoughcough* (spoiler, it’s happened before, more than once !)
Why can’t everyone just make up and kiss in the end I hate all this discourse on tiktok </3
Currently thinking about how much Being Human underutilized the "predatory" nature of vampires so much, specifically in the way they used the fang shots. Every time a vampire bares their teeth to attack, they do the stupidest fangy grimace that completely removes the tension to me.
It's probably because there's not that many ways to bare your teeth without looking like an actual idiot, and for the life of me I can only think of one good example. And it's from fucking FERGUS in season four.
Like, vampires, in theory, are these ultra-manipulative, ultra-charming, self-controlled creatures. By their nature, they have to charm their prey. They have to smile, persuade, they need permission to even enter homes. They have to put on a mask that lures people in. So it would make sense that, right before they attack, the charm that lured in their prey is twisted into something malicious, controlled, evil. Not mindless and uncontrollable, like the werewolves.
I guess I'm just overthinking about how dumb Hal's faces were when he attacked lol
hey, in that one pic, is it just me, or does pebbles' head look like a claw almost there?
Oh yeah that was just one of my early concepts for rot pebbles i figured i could use there
I dont think i managed to depict it clearly in the art but the X can open as a giant mouth. I think it looks sick
