Something that has always pissed me off as a disabled person with a special interest in vampires is the fact that if someone has a disability it’s always “fixed” by being turned, like if a vampire has poor eyesight it’s instantaneously fixed by turning, it just peeves me because being disabled plays a big factor into who I am as a person and the idea that becoming a vampire would “fix me” puts a nasty ass taste in my mouth.

Writers and just people with ocs in general should consider giving their vamps something that breaks the classic vampire mold, if all people aren’t some 6ft tall handsome white man why should that be the prominent portrayal of a superhuman species rooted in humanity?

Finished supernatural last night and the finale left me in tears so here's my hot take:

15x20 was a good ending for every character

Sam never wanted the hunter life for himself, and the whole show consistently proved that he would never be happy as long as he was hunting and he would never stop hunting bc dean could never stop. It was his love and codependency that held him back from living, so having space to let that go for a while is a nice ending for him bc ultimately he still needs his big brother and would reunite with him in heaven

Ok I don't wanna talk about cas that was crazy that he got superhell'd BUT I think it's great for both him AND jack as characters that he's brought back as a true angel of the lord. Plus he deserves spending eternity in heaven with dean so

Jack being able to be an agent of good when everyone kept telling him that he was either a burden or evil is a lovely ending AND bringing back cas shows us that even though he's god he's still JACK and is ultimately made up of the love his family gave him

Now dean. Oh dean. I'm so fucking mad at how he went out like fucking rebar?????? You're kidding that was so bullshit my dean would never but I think I'll save why I think him dying on the job is a solid ending for another post. When I'm less pissed probably idk
