AU IDEA: DIVORCED DAD JULIAN

Background Info

Modern AU

Julian and Asra are ex-spouses

The divorce was messy and left Julian an emotional wreck

All of Julian’s money went into medical school student loans and the divorce

But he managed to scrounge up enough to open a small doctor’s clinic

He provides healthcare at a low price for people who can’t afford normal doctors

He manages to get by

He and Asra have a daughter named Annika, who lives with Asra

Julian calls her Anni

Anni stays with Julian every other weekend

Story

An epidemic currently swept through the country

The fatality rate was low, but most survivors were left immunocompromised if they weren’t already

MC is a survivor of the epidemic who visits Julian every few weeks for immunity supplements

Julian starts visiting MC at their job (they work at a bookstore coffee shop), sometimes bringing Anni

They become friends, and slowly start to become more
