All of you bitches better be building my pyramids.
people who play the old Sonic games and complain that “the games are about going fast but they also try to stop you from going fast” are wilding. imagine if people complained that Halo is about shooting guys but the enemies try to avoid fire and take cover. listen to yourselves people

Ezekiel 36:27 (NLT) - And I will put My Spirit in you so that you will follow My decrees and be careful to obey My regulations.
A decree
We have to use "would haven't" now in place of "wouldn't have"
Possible acceptable alternatives are "would'ven't" and "would have not"
Why? Because "would haven't" is so deliciously awkward and jarring.
Example: "You would have done the same for me." Stupid, wrong, flows naturally: 'I really wouldn't have / I really wouldn't've' Best, jarring and unsettling: "I really would haven't."
It shall be so.
thinking about how for years Sonic fans have liked to throw around the idea that “speed is a reward for Skilled Play” in the Genesis Sonic games and that letting Sonic go fast without this sort of mastery is Wrong, but like... that’s just not how the games have worked, at least not since Sonic 2? like they gave him the Spin Dash because they realized “hey it’s much more fun if you can go fast easily” because that’s Sonic’s whole fucking superpower. going fast is cool, and fun, and you can use it to do neat tricks and things, and doing more of those tricks is what getting good at the games allows for. speed is an ability our little blue guy has, and in many of the games it’s what you do with it that’s up to you.
there’s just so much that a specific sect of Sonic fans will treat like gospel that just doesn’t hold up under examination. maybe next time I’ll go in on all the crap they say about “automation” all the time
Leviticus 18:4 (NIV) - You must obey My laws and be careful to follow My decrees. I am the LORD your God.
