Hello! For the 200 motivation prompts, could you please do this one with Lucky/reader please? 41. “I know the signs…you can’t hide from me, (Name).”
So I did this with a Yandere Lucky, I hope that’s okay! I’ve never written yandere before, and wanted to expand my horizons, you know? If this isn’t what you wanted you can go ahead and send this request again, Nonny.
This was supposed to be a normal day. A normal hangout with your normal friend. Sadly, your stupid curiosity had to go and ruin that for you.
Slim had greeted you at the door, telling you that Lucky was gone, but you could wait upstairs in his room until he got home. It was just going to be the two of you, since everyone else had work to do out of the house, so Slim left shortly after.
You had gone to wait for Lucky in his room, booting up the PS4, figuring you’d play something to pass the time. It was then that you’d noticed that the closet door was cracked open.
Lucky had always told you not to go in there, that he stored weapons in there, and he didn’t want you getting hurt. Later he admitted that he also had personal mementos in there, and that they were private. You’d been curious about it for as long as you’d known him, a little over a year, and now your chance was finally here!
You knew you shouldn’t, but you were just so damn curious, you swore you would just take a peek, and then leave. You crept to the closet, looking around nervously, like he would pop into the room any second. Which he could. You reached the closet and opened the door slowly, the slight creak sounding incredibly loud in the silent house. You finally got it open and stared in horror at the contents.
You weren’t quite sure what you’d been expecting, but hundreds of photos of you certainly wasn’t it. On every wall, even on the ceiling, like he’d been unwilling to throw out any even when there was no more space, pictures of you were crammed together. There didn’t seem to be any organization, no rhyme or reason. You stepped into the closet, some kind of horrified fascination pulling you forward. Most of the pictures seemed to be candid ones of you, when you thought you’d been alone. You sitting on your couch, you on your laptop, you at the store buying groceries. There were even a few of you sleeping. You tore your eyes away and spotted what looked like a shrine in the corner.
It was, unsurprisingly, covered with some of your personal belongings. An old toothbrush, one of your sleep shirts that you thought you’d lost weeks ago, a pencil you’d chewed on. Each was placed with the utmost care on the small shrine.
You felt sick to your stomach. Your best friend, the sweet, energetic skeleton was a stalker? This can’t be happening, you thought to yourself. It had to be some kind of messed up dream. You pinched yourself. Nothing. You bit the inside of your mouth until you tasted blood. Nothing. Your limbs started shaking. You had to call the police, tell Slim or Sans or someone. You felt for your phone, but you’d left it outside the closet. You stumbled as quickly as you could out of the fucked-up closet, when you realized something.
Some of those pictures were from before you’d met Lucky.
You felt bile rise to your throat but quickly shoved it down. This whole time, the months you’d spent with him, he was doing this??? You needed to tell someone, now!
You raced out of the closet, slamming the door behind you. You took a second to lean over, trying to gather your thoughts and to feel less queasy, hands on your knees. Once you felt like you weren’t going to throw up, you quickly looked around the room, trying to find your phone. You raced around, throwing pillows and blankets away, looking behind furniture. Nothing.
Just as you were starting to panic, you heard footsteps coming up the stairs. “Y/N?” Lucky’s voice called. “ARE YOU HERE?” If you hadn’t just seen his...secret collection, you would have thought that he was perfectly sane. A little loud, yes, but utterly normal. You couldn’t let him find you! You quickly dove under the bed, the closest hiding place you could see.
From your vantage point under the bed, you saw Lucky’s polished shoes enter the room. “Y/N? SLIM TOLD ME YOU’D BE…” That was when he noticed the mess. He went on alert, moving stealthily through the room, until he noticed the closet was shut.
You silently berated yourself. Why had you shut the door? Why didn’t you put things back where they belonged? Why didn’t you just run as soon as you saw the pictures? Snap out of it, you thought. What-if’s aren’t going to help you, you just have to get out of here without him noticing. Or get to your phone. If only you could find it.
It was then that Lucky spoke again. “Y/N, I Know You’re Here. You Saw My Collection, Didn’t You?” He let out a dark chuckle. His whole demeanor was so much more threatening than you’d ever seen before. “Come On Out Little Bunny, And I Won’t Have To Punish You~” he said in a sing-songy voice.
Not a chance in hell were you going to come out. You quickly scanned the room, looking frantically for your phone. Wait, was that...Yes! It was by the TV, probably fallen out of your pocket when you went to turn it on. You could only see it now, from this strange angle. Now the problem was just getting to it…
While you were thinking, Lucky seemed to get bored. “Come On Dear, You Know How This Is Going To End. I Know The Signs...You Can’t Hide From Me, Y/N.” You put a hand over your mouth, trying to breathe as quietly as you could. You had to get to your phone, somehow.
Lucky tore open the closet door, probably checking if you were in there, and then stalked inside. Now, you had to go now! Abandoning all subtlety, you scrambled out from under the bed, sprinting across the room. Your chest heaved, due to panic and strain. You snatched your phone out from its hiding place, then turned to the open door of his room. If you could just get downstairs and outside, you’d be home free!
You were almost there, just a few more steps-when the door slammed shut. You screamed and tried to yank the door open. Nothing. It was like it was glued shut, you couldn’t get it to budge! You whipped around, to see Lucky standing there, a smug grin on his face, his hand surrounded by blue magic, one of his eye lights snuffed out.
“Well Well Well, Look Who It Is...I Was Wondering When You’d Find Out.” You felt your body lock up, then you were lifted a few inches off the ground, unwilling moving toward him. “I Hoped You Wouldn’t Have To Learn This Way, But That’s Just How The Cards Fall.” You struggled in his magic, to no avail. He set you down right in front of him, still frozen, as he stared down at you with heart shaped eye lights.
“We’re Going To Have So Much Fun, Little Bunny~”
