Ok so I'm starting a very ambitious project for myself that's going to have me redrawing all the skeletons. Because I know it's going to take me a while I don't want the pieces to just sit on my computer so I've combined them into a character card background thingy.

Anyway I started with Carbine since I know one of my mutuals ( @pinkplasticprincess ) will appreciate him.

Imma be real this man almost made me want to give up on the entire project but after stepping back I think I like it ? I might have been staring at him too long.

Special Ability: Fear Induction - Art can invoke overwhelming and intense fear and horror in others by just snapping his fingers. He has a frightening amount of control over his ability and can pinpoint the magic to a single individual in a crowd if he so chooses, inducing a waking nightmare/horrifying delusion that the person can’t seem to wake from until he deems it fit to release them.

Strengths: Humble, Curious, Focused, Open-Minded, Perceptive, Innovative

Weaknesses: Cunning, Competitive, Vengeful, Sneaky, Holds Grudges, Petty

The Spymaster. Art is in charge of making sure all information the family needs is gathered, stored and used appropriately. He has quite a few informants and spies at his disposal.

He puts a lot of faith in Flash for gathering information, and if Flash tells him someone would make a good informant or spy, he listens. Art might be in charge, but Flash has the real skill for information gathering, and Art knows this.

Very political, and soft in nature, but terrifying when angry. A lot of people would assume that Arsenal is the scariest, but they’d be wrong; it’s Art. He just doesn’t show it that often.

Has no problem with taking revenge on those he deems to have wronged him in some way, and he’ll do it with little emotion or afterthought. This bothers Arsenal, because Art will come off as so gentle and kind, but really he’s just as secretly ruthless as he is.

Despite all of that, Art is incredibly kind to those he cares about and takes time to check in on the people in his care. He has a nice smile and calm demeanour that helps others open up to him. 

He’s a good listener. If you go to him to tell him something, even if you’re worried it’s nothing, he’ll still listen, and he’ll take it seriously. If you believe it’s something he needs to know, then he’ll be attentive.

Detests being uninformed, not as much as Anvil does, but he feels like his hands are tied behind his back or he’s been blinded by not having all the information or knowing where all the pieces need to be on the board. This can make him cranky if it happens over a long period of time.

Doesn’t like caffeinated drinks, and usually prefers to just drink water or warmed milk with honey.

Prefers to use his magic when fighting, but if he needs to use a weapon, he’ll use a rifle of some sort.

He’s an amazing cook and wishes he had more time to indulge in cooking or baking. Everyone gets pretty pumped when Art finds time to cook something because it’s always delicious.

He’s really humble about his position in the Mafia, and thinks that he’s not really needed, but is always really happy when one of the underlings comes to him for advice. 

He hates belts.

Doesn’t like the colour black, so most of his suits are navy, grey, white, blue, or orange in colour.

Doesn’t like being called sir or boss. Finds them too impersonal and stuffy. This is why Bullet calls him Leader. He finds it amusing.

Snorts when he laughs. It’s actually quite cute, but he finds it embarrassing. 

Sings to himself while working unconsciously. He’ll just be singing under his breath with no music on as he works. He has a lovely voice, and Gauge will often sit outside his brother’s office just to listen when he’s overly stressed. Art is unaware of this.

Has a collection of drawings Flash and Gauge did for him when they were little. He has some framed in his office, much to their embarrassment. He’ll happily show them off too, which makes it worse for the two younger brothers.

He has a terrible tendency to hold grudges, so it’s best not to get on his bad side. You took the last piece of cake he wanted? He’ll remember that for life.

Can be a bit petty. He’ll say or do things out of pettiness with no real end goal other than to make himself feel better. 

Has an odd collection of snowglobes. He thinks they’re funny. He has bookcases filled with them instead of books.

He’s incredibly intelligent but doesn’t make it very known. He’d rather be seen as underwhelming. It makes his job easier. So, he’ll often let people explain or overexplain things as if he didn’t get it from the beginning. This drives Auto insane because he hates when people prattle on.

He has the worst handwriting. It’s chicken scratch, and only Gauge can read it fully. This drives Flash insane since Art likes to handwrite his orders and forces Flash to either make Art text him after the fact or gets Gauge to come rewrite the orders for him.

Takes walks to relax. There are several parks he really loves. 

Art loves to be outside. If he could spend most of his time out there he would and will often take his work outside to the extensive garden the Residence has if the weather permits him to.

Calls his S/O “Treasure” “My Treasure”

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!! Sorry this is late, but I hope you had a good one!!!

Mafiatale Sans: Usually, he's pretty adaptable when it comes to celebrating! Do you like to make a big deal of it? Then he'll put up decorations and get you anything you want, even take you out to a nice restaurant if that's what you're into! You like it more relaxed? Then he'll order in some pizza and cuddle with you in bed! The one thing he draws the line at is parties. Obviously, he doesn't want you asking for help when he has his back turned, but also because he's extremely jealous. Nobody should be able to see you except him.

Mafiatale Papyrus: Papyrus LOVES birthdays!! He wants to make you feel like the most special person in the world! He'll take the day off work, bring you breakfast in bed, get you presents, and (attempt) to make a cake! He's been watching you long enough he knows all your favorite flavors by now. Though he wants to make you happy, he wont let you go out without him. He'll take you somewhere, but he'll have your hand in his or around your waist the entire time. Can't risk anything, can we? Mostly, just let him spend time with you and he'll be the happiest man on earth!

Mafiaswap Sans (Lucky): He's the kind of dork who will wake you up at midnight to wish you a happy birthday. Don't worry about how he got into your house, it's fine :) You should really check your locks more often, though. Lucky wants to make your special day all about you! Spa day, favorite food, favorite dessert, and a ton of praise. He wants you to feel special! As long as you keep your eyes on him, and only him, he'll be happy doing what you want! Hopefully he doesn't wear you out too much, though, because the night's activities will be just as fun as the daytime ones~

Mafiaswap Papyrus (Slim): How your birthday goes depends on how you've acted recently. If you've been good and listened to him, you get to go outside! He'll spend the day with you, walking in the park, getting coffee, even a concert, whatever you want to do! He wants to make you happy, of course, and he'll pull out all the stops! If you've been bad, though, and tried to escape, you'll have to stay in. He'll still plan some fun at-home activities and get your favorite food delivered, but he can't risk you getting away. He'll find you quickly, of course, and hes not afraid to rough you up a little to get you back. That's not a very fun way to spend the day, is it honey?

Mafiafell Sans (Butch): He's a bit more low-key compared to some of the others, but he'll definitely still spoil you! He doesn't like to give you your gifts all at once, but instead sprinkles them out throughout the day. Breakfast? Here's a present! Watching your favorite movie? Present! Crawling into bed? He's got your present right here, doll~ He refuses to let you leave the property, though. He'll never admit it, but he gets nervous, and he doesn't want to ruin the day by being paranoid that you'll run at any second. You'll have to be happy with the garden for now. Maybe once you've fully broken, he'll take you out on the town. Maybe.

Mafiafell Papyrus (Noir): Noir loves showing off for your birthday. He'll probably rent out an entire restaurant (threatening the staff, of course, if anyone looks at you the wrong way they're dead) and treat you. He'll want to take you out on the town and show you off, hes one of the few yanderes that will regularly let you out of the house. He's confident in his ability to threaten other people, and you to a lesser extent. I hope you enjoy that little bit of freedom, if you try to run, your next birthday will be spent in the basement.

Mafiaswapfell Sans (Scar): As we all know, Scar is THE sugar daddy of all time, so I hope you like getting spoiled~ Scar will go all out, getting you an expensive new outfit, some perfume or cologne, and even a small stack of new movies and video games! Those are some of your only glimpses of the outside world besides your window, so hopefully you like them! He also gets you some new lingerie, but that's more for him than you~

Mafiaswapfell Papyrus (Hound): More than anything, Hound just wants to see you smile! And lucky for him, your birthday is the perfect day for that! He'll want to spend all day practically glued to your side, treating you and doing anything you want. Even if he has to go to a pun filled comedy show, he'll put up with your terrible taste if it'll make you happy. He's not worried about you running away, you love him too, don't you? Hed find you quickly, either way. He's very thoughtful with his present too. He made you a scrapbook with all your favorite memories together! There's a lot of pictures of you sleeping, but he loves every moment with you, can you blame him?

Handcuffs & Heartthrobs - Chapter 1:

(Inspired by @battlemaiden13's The Hitmans, The Heartthrobs, and The Other Guy)

Tonight was the night. You had begged your father to help him on the case he was working on to break up an underground fighting ring. You would be going undercover as a fighter while wearing a tracker and placing bugs everywhere. It was dangerous but would help the Monsters trafficked and forced to fight for other people’s entertainment.

Your father wanted you nowhere near the case. Partly because of the danger, but mostly because you were known to stray away from the plan. You would have to reel yourself in and not do anything to get yourself caught.

That was going to be difficult. Knowing that there were Monsters that needed help that you could free. But if you got caught, you wouldn’t be able to help anyone…

Shaking your head, you mentally scolded yourself. You shouldn’t be thinking this way. You had to stay positive and determined. Luckily for you, you had time to decompress and prepare. First thing’s first… you needed to drop your car off at your favorite shop for a tune up.

Your dad would be dropping you off not far from where the fight club was located and waiting for you outside, so you didn’t need it that night anyways. You also needed to get your disguise ready. A friend of yours would be helping you with that part and you were so grateful.

Once at the mechanic’s, you weren’t prepared to hear some of the best and worst news of your day. “What do you mean Paul doesn’t work here anymore?”

“Sorry, miss. But someone bought this place and fired him for creepin’ on our female customers.”

That was fantastic news. Well, sort of. Paul was a dickheaded, creepy, scumbag. But damn, did that man know his way around a car. At least he couldn’t perv on women here anymore. Now, you need to find a new mechanic.

You didn’t trust anyone else here to handle your baby. Unfortunately, you may have to find a new auto shop.

“We got this new guy in. Was recommended by the new owner and everything. He’s got talent but no one is willing to have him working on their vehicles.”

“How come?”

“He’s a Monster.”

Oh. So racism. “You say he’s talented? If you sing his praises then I’ll try him out.”

“Very well, miss.”

Signing the necessary papers, you were surprised to find a skeleton Monster walking over to you. That must be the guy who would be working on your car. “Hi. You must be my new mechanic.”

He looked surprised. And cute. Tall, awkward, and with the skeleton equivalent of freckles. His jumpsuit was baggy on him and hung off one of his shoulders. The opposite side’s pant leg was pushed up showing old, beaten up work boots.

“Uh.. yes, ma’am… I’m Rifle and I’ll be working on your car.”

Handing him the keys, you gave him a light pat on the shoulder. “Take good care of my baby. If you do good work you might become my new, regular mechanic.”

Heading off after that, you missed the shocked and flustered look on Rifle's face. You had a mission to get ready for.

Some more funny heat week shenanigans:

Ranchers heat makes his scent slightly sweeter, so the dairy cows will follow him around in the field thinking he has treats in his pockets

Storm LOVES it when edge is on his cycle and will fully take advantage of all the cuddles. It’s a common sight to see the two arguing heatedly with the much larger and more muscular storm seated on edges lap during.

Fisher can’t swim during his heat cause his clumsiness makes him forget which direction is up. He keeps bumping into the sea bed.

Ace once ripped off two of butch’s fingers during heat week when he was forcing his brother into the bunker :D. Butch was fast enough at getting to a healer that they were able to reattach them. It’s why one of his pointer fingers is slightly shorter than the other one.

As a prank and experiment, coffee and mutt once conspired to get wine lord and mal to all meet up during their cycle to see if they would still get along. Cash actually found out and managed to put a stop to it before they were successful. He’s not letting these two sadistic jerks ruin the only two genuine friendships his brother has. That plan is lords 433’d reason why mutt has to be locked away during his week.
