I was going to update this post with today's brand new info but to not make it more long than it already is i'll just finish it with the final decision coming up on june 10th.

Today's brand new info: Chile's football association held a press conference today with their team of lawyers showing the arguments they gave and the proof they presented which included the baptism certificate of the player in question which "proves" he's colombian and not ecuadorian. However the ecuadorian association responded right away saying this whole thing "is a circus" AND some reputable media site posted an article claiming f1fa decided to ban ecuador from the upcoming world cup..... and to let the ranking move as it follows meaning that peru would be 4th (qualified) and colombia 5th (play offs) 🤯
