today I received a literal trunkload full of old magazines, an old suitcase full of old photos and an old record player I’m not sure works. 

I’m trying to wrap up a long overdue presentation, but after lifting said old trunk (and old suitcase and old record player) four flights of stairs i just want to curl up in bed.

A dragon and a worm.

Just today I heard him say that back in Taiwan he was like a dragon but now that he is in Australia, he is nothing but a worm.   I hear him say this at least once a year.

Are my experiences shaped by the fact that my father blames me for changing his fate thus and that a large part of what I’ve been expected now as an adult is to repay for his sufferings?
