Unpopular Opinion: 

Just a disclaimer! I did really loved the movie, I even loved how Lapis and Peridot got a little screen time. However, I thought that they would fight a just little bit but oh well I guess temper prone Lapis is a pacifist when Steven gets hurt. Yeah... do you see my issue? Anyone? I don’t know maybe I’m looking too much into this. 

Maybe it’s just me, but I didn’t see Lapis Lazuli especially just Okay with Steven nearly dying and she could have caught him. Come on crewniverse she’s got wings. But she’s more useful flying around saving the citizens? Mm-I guess?~ 

I don’t know with how protective she is over Steven it just felt a little out of character for her in my observation. I think it was the fact throughout the entire thing Hence: “If anyone can fix this it’s you.” Hey, she believed in his ability so much and let him be independent and handle it alone like he wanted that is probably why?

The ending was really sweet though they all got to sing in unison! So yup that was just a smidge of a thing I took issue with. Again this is just my personal opinion. 

Hope we get to touch on how Peridot and Lapis mended their relationship soon!

Talking about ptsd stuff under the cut

Something I still struggle to understand is just HOW they can bring something up in casual conversation and talk about it like it's just a Wild Crazy Thing that happened, and not the most traumatic event in my life that gave me so many issues and still causes PTSD episodes. Like. Literally having to immediately leave the room bc I can't think about that or else I will spiral but gee I'm really glad it's such a normal thing for you. Jesus.
