of all the names ive used over the years im kinda surprised chip is the one that finally stuck
#im happy with it dont get me wrong#but before chip i was using names like elysium and asphodel#captains orders#i know Why it ended up clicking#two things happened to me when i first started using chip#i got into an anime. and i made a new friend#my previous method of 'stealing my favorite character's name every new interest' was nullified#and my new friend (hai sammay (｡･ω･｡)) and i were chatting daily. so he was calling me Chip a lot#as thats the name he knew me as (whereas friends who knew me before used ol' reliable at the time (captain))#and i ended up being into that show for a Long. Time.#so it was a longggg time of having no new blorbo name to steal and being called chip daily#and so eventually it just stuck#i dont really feel the urge to change it these days#oh and probably figuring out my identity and plurality around that time probably helped#yapping#i say all this like ot wasnt Last Year. but to be fair its been a crazy one since then for me#I SAID PROBABLY TWICE fuck my lige#life#my liege...
