Things I love about my moirails...

We all have nicknames we use for each other.

Most prominently they all call me their own specific nicknames.

@cornyzombie - Calls me Rogue because of my URL and my god-tier being Rogue of Blood. I call him Boss because of our partnership and I just plain think he’s cool.

@sunflowerpin - Calls me Oz or Brobro because of my real name (Which I will never reveal, at least I won’t reveal my last name cause I despise it.) I call her sis because she really is like a younger sister to me.

@liquidwolf9001 - Calls me little man because I’m practically living Dave Strider to him and to me he’s my Dirk, he’s the big brother I never had but always wanted. He’s the only person in the entire universe, in all of paradox space that is allowed to call me little man. I call him dudebro cause he says that literally all the time when we chat.

They’ve always been there for me even when i’m difficult and I always feel like their care is genuine never faked.

Boss has comforted me on hard nights where my past comes to haunt my thoughts and I just vent to them, vent and cry but they’re still there talking to me everyday. He’s a wonderful understanding empathetic moirail who is like family to me and a wonderful artist partner.

Sis helped me get out of some serious toxic friendships and even gain the courage to ignore my abusers and simply keep going. She’s blunt and harsh sometimes but she’s still there when I need her and is the first friend I ever had that actually said they were proud of me. She’s also so much fun and easily excitable which is sweet (Girl nearly screamed when I won my first cosplay trophy like just all caps.)

Dudebro again he’s the brother I never had but always wanted, our friendship actually started with me admiring him greatly. He ran a Homestuck page via facebook and I watched his videos which he called “Real Talk With Strider” and I cried. I cried because everything he said was what I needed to hear, I commented on the page and we chatted. The first time we ever talked voices was during a trip with my boyfriend’s parents, I was beyond stressed and he talked to me helped me feel less like bottom of the barrel trash. Suddenly this guy I admired so much is my friend and suddenly it’s not just him helping me but he asked for my help too. Suddenly I mattered to someone like family and we aren’t even related, it didn’t matter though because we didn’t have to be related to be close. My dudebro actually treats me like a brother, respects my gender, actually worries over me, we can talk about things that usually seem like romantic shit but it’s not romantic to us it’s purely platonic. Sometimes it feels like he’s the reward I got for suffering so much, which sounds shitty but hey if it got me such a great big brother i’ll take it.

I love my moirails cause they save my life, I wouldn’t want to be in a world without them ever. I love them all very deeply and I hope to one day meet them and hug them in real life, though it’ll most likely be my dudebro first (He lives closest and we want to go to a con together).
