Mysterylover watches Bleach episodes 209-210 “Urahara & Hiyoru=Friendship Goals”
1. Time skip! To...horror movie imagery. Great....Anyway we’re quickly back to Shinigami flashback hijinks.
2. Yikes we get a tentacle monster attacking a kid Shinigami. We really didn’t need more lovecraftian abominations in this show.
3. The kid is woobie-ish and cute tho. Anyway I get the feeling that this part may be filler. Ah well. That’s the risk you take when the summary says “mixed”.
4. We get more cute Urahara banter though. Filler or no at least it’s fun. Hiyori and Urahara’s friendship is pretty sweet, NGL.
5. Oh god and of course it ends in brutal bloody murder. Should’ve expected that by this point...
6. We pick up with everyone being called to go find out about said massacre. Sleepy Urahara actually gets energetic when Hiyori’s put in danger.
7. And Ura gets reprimanded by Yoru! For his panic being ‘an insult to her’. Ooh wow is this the “Bakugou vs Uraraka” kinda calling Shonens out for not expecting women to hold their own? Noice Yoru.
8. Another whacky future duo shows up to join in on the flashback antics! Glasses girl who looks ilke Uryu and Dude with giant hat and beard.
9. She does indeed continue to kick ass despite the massacre. Shinji joins her and she tsuns at him. I assume Shinji is Hiyori’s main ship? I could be wrong.
10. Aww their friend got turned into a monster and now they’re gonna have to kill him. That seriously sucks.
11. More freaky monsters made out of their friends show up. Man these flashbacks sure are depressing.
12. Urahara gets confronted about something something pride honor saving friends shonen stuff. He’s wearing a hat now BTW so he’s started to evolve into Modern Uarahara.
13. And that’s about it for these two. They were pretty fun - and sad. Surprising lack of Aizen though. I need those backstory deets, dammit!
