i think it would be very nice to have a mini fic where dan and phil take a regressed reader (maybe somewhere between 2-4?) to a theme park or maybe some headcanons? im fine w any dnp agere content honestly. theres not enough fic content of caregivers dnp :(

You've been looking forward to it for what feels like forever and tomorrow is finally the day! Papa Phil and Mama Dan are settling you in to bed, but you're too excited thinking about all the fun you'll have at the waterpark tomorrow.
"I gonna ride all de scary slides tomorrow!"
"You're gonna be so brave!" Replies Dan as he tucks you into your blankeys.
"N I gonna race you in da lazy river!" You say with wide eyes laying restlessly in your bed.
Phil chuckles, "definitely, love. But you gotta go to sleep first so you can store up all your energy." He boops your nose and looks back to Dan who has your favorite plushie in his hands. Dan puts the feet of the plushy on the bed and makes it hop as if walking to you. You absolutely love when he makes them come to life like this. He walks it right into your arms and says in the silly voice he always uses for this plushie, "im so sleeeepy, can you protect me til I fall asleep?"
"Yea! I always proteck you," you reply as you wrap the toy cozily in your arms. Mama and Papa both give you a kiss on the forehead and tell you goodnight before turning on your sleepy time star night light projector and turning out the lights.
Despite all your restless excitement the night before, Mama is awake before you. The lights are on and you see that you somehow managed not to drop your beloved toy on the floor in your sleep; todays gonna be extra-extra great! Mama Dan is looking through your dresser drawers and packing your swimsuit. You jump out of bed and rush to her, "I can pick my swimsoup?"
"Good morning, bub," Dan says with comfort in his voice. "Here, let me lay out a few options for you." He lays on the floor a number of swimsuits for you to choose from. A cute one-piece with animals on it and a matching pair of swim shorts, a colorful rainbow striped swim shirt with matching swim bottoms, a black swimsuit with cute cartoon skulls and bones printed on it reconning back to your dads' emo days, and a simple one color onesie suit in your favorite color. You spend a while deciding, even mix and matching different tops and bottoms, while Dan packs your swim toys into a big bag. "Dis one!" you say grabbing your favorite combo. Dan tells you to go put it on and brush your teeth while he packs up a bit more.
After getting into your suit and brushing your teeth with your favorite kiddy flavored tooth paste you go to the kitchen and see Papa is awake now too and having his morning coffee. "Good morning honey! Your swimsuit is so cute, did you pick it out yourself?"
"Yea!" you smile wide and strike a pose to show off your fashion masterpiece.
"Are you excited for the waterpark?"
"Yea yea yea!!" you're practically buzzing with joy.
"Me too! I made eggs, toast, and sausages for brekky so we can have lots of energy to play," he says grabbing a kiddy plate to put on the table. It's shaped like the head of a bear with the two ears being different sections, one for eggs, one for sausages, and a cute cartoon face covered by your slices of bread. You eat at the table with Papa as he runs through the checklist with Mama; toys, goggles, snacks, sandwiches, sunscreen, towels, waters, electrolyte powders, tickets, sunglasses, hats, and other things that stopped sounding interesting to you.
Finally it was time to go!
The car ride felt like it took forever, but you talked the whole way there anyway; you couldn't help it you were just too excited!
You made it through the lines and gate, and stood in amazement at the huge water park. There was a water parkour course, giant colorful twisting slides, a huge splash pad with a playground, a giant lazy river (so big you couldn't see the whole track), and more hidden behind the huge things you were about to explore.
You looked to both your sides at Dan and Phil holding your hands, and they seemed almost as excited as you! "What do you want to do first, water-bug?"
"Race!"
Dan put the bag of goodies in a locker before you walked over to the start of the lazy river. People were floating by in their pool tubes, relaxing and taking in the heat of the sun, but you had other plans. Two floats make their way to your dads, perfectly suited blue for Phil and black for Dan. "Those is your donuts," you say as you wade into the water, a third donut of your favorite color in sight, "and this one mine!"
You're all standing in your donuts, fighting against the light push of the stream as you use your goggles to make sure no one is cheating by having a toe ahead of the starting line (a divide in the pavement of the river). When you decide everyone's good you start the count down like you've seen on TV, especially mama's racing shows or when they watch the Great British Bake Off with you. "3, (you get confused but go with your gut) 4, 5, GO!" Mama Dan pushed off hard and got a strong head start, but Papa Phil was behind you pretending to swim his hardest. You pushed and kicked with your legs, focusing your attention on trying to surpass Dan, who was looking back at you and goofily taunting. His taunting landed him in trouble though when he managed to get splashed by something overhead... the race had obstacles!?! You look up ahead to see that the lazy river in fact had overhangs that would dunk, spray, and mist water onto you as you passed underneath, and Dan had just gotten a bucket of water poured on him from the first one. He feigned confusion, stopping and looking left and right for the source of the water, which let you surpass him, skillfully dodging the next tipping bucket. The rest of the race Mama kept close behind you, only once surpassing you again while narrating himself "and Dan takes the lead at the second major corner", before pretending to be caught up by some slowpokes in front of him. You go around them and take first place back while saying "Now I takes a lead again!!"
The race finished with you in first, Dan in a close second, and Phil in a not-so-close third. Apparently once he knew he was gonna lose he decided to do the lazy river the lazy way, which he swore was just as fun.
