Summary: It's your first time meeting Wanda and Natasha's friends, what happens when one of them proposes a game of truth or dare?
Word count: 2800
Just a moment ago, Wanda posed a question that essentially threw you into a spiral. Even after being with the couple for a few months now, the fact that they’re about 15 years older than you, still manages to make you melt sometimes; and that was with them. So naturally when Wanda said they were having their friends over tonight, and they would love for you to meet them, you didn’t even know how to feel. On one hand, you were excited and glad that they wanted you to get to know their friends. But, on the other hand, you were sure they were all their age, and from passing conversations you’d had and overhead, you were pretty sure all those women were also all lesbians. Not to mention, you’d already met one of Nat’s friends, she claimed to be her best friend, but you weren’t sure if Nat agreed with that. She was very similar to Nat from what you could tell, Val was snarky and sarcastic but you could see she had a softer side that came out, particularly to reassure when you were anxious or nervous and she could tell. You couldn’t help but wonder what the rest of their friends are like, if any of them are softer and more motherly like Wanda, or if any of them can have a harsher side like Natasha. Only time would tell.
You’d been more withdrawn today than usual, both Natasha and Wanda had noticed. It wasn’t a surprise that when the doorbell rang for the first time this evening, that you practically sprinted up the stairs to your room. Nat and Wanda shared a glance, before Wanda simply stated, “You get the door, it’ll be Val, she's always early. I’ll go check in on y/n.”
Wanda gave a light jog up the stairs, gently knocking on the bedroom door when she reached it. “Baby?” You give her a whine in response, but she takes that as your approval to enter. When she opens the door, she sees you curled up, hiding your face in your pillow, with your blanket pulled right up over you. She can’t help the soft smile that creeps up her face at the sight of you, you are utterly adorable.
“Sweetheart,” she mumbles as she sits beside you, she rubs circles into your blanketed back, “Are you being shy hm?”
“Mmmmm”
“Come on, let me see that pretty face of yours.” You don’t move, but you don’t protest much when Wanda starts to carefully pull the blanket down. She shuffles so her face is in front of yours, noticing the way you’re biting your lip- which she knows is an anxious habit of yours. She moves even closer so that her forehead rests against yours, to hold your attention. Wanda whispers out a soft “Hi baby.”
Receiving a quiet “Hi,” from you in response. She nuzzles her nose against yours, to get a little smile out of you.
“What’s wrong, hm?” You open your mouth to respond but don’t say anything immediately. “Come on, my sweet girl, tell me what’s going through that pretty mind of yours.”
“I’m just nervous.”
“It’s okay to be nervous, Nat and I are going to be with you the whole time, yeah? Your pace, nobody is going to pressure you, baby.”
Once you’re settled and calmer, Wanda moves to stand, reaching out her hand for you. “Now, I know that Val is here, I don’t think anyone else got here yet. Should we go say hi, sweetheart?”
Wanda guides you down to the kitchen, with a tight hold of your hand, to keep you grounded. She leads you to Natasha, mumbling something about getting you a drink, and your hand is passed over. “Hi malyshka, are you feeling okay?” You give her a nod, as you warily glance over to Val, who’s sitting beside Natasha. Natasha smiles a little at your shyness, but she doesn’t leave it long before she’s pulling you onto her lap, and kissing your temple. She leans close to your ear, “Are you going to be brave for me and say hi to Val?”
Wanting to make her proud, you peek your head out of her chest, meeting Val’s eyes briefly, as you mumble “Hi, Val,” as a blush takes over your cheeks.
You don’t see Val’s smile as she responds with a gentle “Hi, little one. I’m not that scary, you don’t have to hide from me.”
“I’m just nervous, I’m sorry.”
Nat briefly tuts, whispering, “don’t apologise for your feelings,” into the side of your head, where she had rested her lips. “How come you’re so nervous, angel?”
“Lots of new people. Older people,” then whispers, “hot lesbian women, Natty!”
They both genuinely laugh at that, before reassuring you, ”You’re right about that, but everyone’s nice. They know when to tone it down, I promise.”
You hear the doorbell go again, Wanda opting to go get it; and just like that the doorbell keeps going and everyone slowly arrives. Each person taking a seat in the unusually big living room that Natasha and Wanda own, the room growing comfortably louder. Turns out, you weren’t wrong about all the hot lesbian women; there ended up being you, Nat and Wanda of course, then Rio, Agatha, Val, Maria and Pepper.
As more and more of their friends arrive, you’re getting more comfortable since you’re seeing that there’s truly no expectation for you- not from any of their friends, nor them themselves. But you couldn’t deny that the full room still makes you anxious. Luckily for you, your girlfriends were incredibly in tune with you, given your dynamic, so they made sure to wordlessly keep an eye on you- and not push you too far out of your comfort zone.
When everyone migrated to the living room, Wanda laid comfy on the sofa, patting the space between her legs for you to rest against her. She wrapped her arms around you from behind, resting them over your stomach; she rested her cheek against your own, gently swaying you for a moment.
Disrupting the peaceful moment, Val jumps up suddenly, shouting “let’s play truth or dare!”
Natasha: “A bit childish don’t you think?”
Rio: “It’s a bit of innocent fun, Nat. Why the hell not.”
Val: “Okay then Rio, you can kick it off. Truth or dare?”
Rio: “Dare. Obviously.”
Val: “Let’s start off strong, because it’s you. Kiss the hottest person in the room.”
A massive smirk graces Rio’s face, as she instantly winks at Agatha and prances towards her.
You were somehow expecting her to simply lean down, peck her lips and pull away. You were very very wrong. She swung a leg over Agatha’s, straddling her lap, she cupped her cheeks and pulled her in for a surprisingly long, passionate kiss.
Both women took that dare absolutely in their stride, while you weren’t even involved and you’ve managed to go completely bright red.
Val: whistles “But, okay enough you two or this is gonna be the shortest game ever. Rio, your turn to ask.”
She dramatically looks around the room before landing on Pepper, “Truth or dare?”
Pepper eyes the room with a level, unamused stare that you can instantly recognise as "important boss energy.” She tightens her ponytail and without missing a beat says, “Truth.”
Rio gives a dramatic sigh of disappointment. “Cowardly, but fine.” She leans back into her seat and crosses her arms, tapping at her chin, then smirks. “Who in this room would you trade your life with if you had to?”
You watch Natasha reaction to Rio's question, rolling her eyes, seemingly bored at the tame question. Pepper is unreadable for a second, except for her fingers, which twist the hem of her sweater absently. Then, with a little grin, “Wanda. She gets to cook all day and her house doesn’t have three legal lawsuits taped to the fridge. The dream.” Wanda laughs, genuinely touched, and waves a modest hand, but you can feel her beaming against your back.
Pepper gives the room a pointed look. “If I see a dare come my way, I’m not picking it.” Val’s eyes go devilish, “don’t be boring, Pep.”
The game picks up speed after that. Maria, sitting cool and remote in the corner, picks dare and is challenged to recite the entire Russian alphabet backward (she nails it, obviously); Agatha, who has an edge of mischief written all over her face, picks truth and admits to a high school shoplifting phase, “only the intellectuals become criminally inclined,” Agatha notes, which makes Rio practically howl with laughter.
You’re just starting to relax into the rhythm of the evening- the comfort of the bodies stacked together on the couch, especially the warmth of Wanda’s arms draped loosely over your middle, the constant hum of joking and wordplay- when Val’s gaze snaps to you.
“Alright, little one. Truth or dare?”
There’s an immediate silence. The group turns as Val directs her attention to you, “you want to play? I’ll go easy on you.”
“Mmmm sure.”
“Okay truth or dare?”
“Mmm dare?” They giggle slightly at the questioning tone in your voice.
“I dare you to give your mommy a kiss…on the cheek.” She paused to see your reaction, which was you flushing red, so she added ‘on the cheek’ to ease the teasing.
You blushed but obeyed, and shifted towards Natasha, who you called mommy. It went over your head that Val probably thought you called Wanda mommy, but that woman was your mama. You couldn’t help the little whine that escaped at having to remove yourself from Wanda’s warm embrace, but you quickly scuttled over to Natasha, leaning down to press a gentle kiss to her cheek, once you’re close enough.
You’re startled by the array of chuckles and howls you hear, in reaction to what just happened; letting out a squeak, and clambering onto Nat’s lap, instantly hiding in her chest.
“I totally had Wanda down as being mommy.”
“And you thought you gave daddy vibes HAHA hilarious.”
Hearing all of their comments is making you whine, Natasha’s distracted by trying to get them to shut up, after all, she’s embarrassed herself.
“Val, you better shut your mouth immediately.”
“I thought you’d like it wide open, daddy.”
“Rio! Not helpful, oh my god you lot are so annoying.”
You don’t really know what to do with yourself after that, so you just burrow deeper into Nat’s chest and hope the next few rounds of truth or dare don’t set their sights on you again. But with this crowd, it’s a losing battle- even Wanda, usually your safe haven, is too caught up in the mischievous delight of the group to shield you fully. She keeps sending you these soft glances from her seat on the other sofa, which would probably make you melt if you weren’t so busy trying to shrink into Natasha and disappear entirely.
The game goes on, with more harmless dares. Rio is dared to eat a raw clove of garlic, which was quite unsettling with how easily she did so- she ate it like an apple. Pepper recites her most humiliating sexual experience, let’s just say it ended in lots of tears (and no, not the fun ones).
You’re half lost in a debate about whether Rio is even human, and trying not to react to Pepper’s story, when Val, who’s somehow always clocked on to your micro expressions, grins and says, “Looks like it’s the baby’s turn again. Don’t worry, little one, you can pick truth.”
You flush so pink you’re sure you could be seen from across the street. “Truth,” you mumble, refusing to look up.
“That’s my brave girl,” Wanda says, so low you feel it as much as hear it.
Val rubs her hands together resembling an evil cartoon villain. “Okay. How long did it take you to figure out you had a thing for older women?” she asks. “And was there a specific moment, or did it just dawn on you over time?”
The whole room oohs. Even Natasha straightens a little, interested in your answer. You shift, tucking your feet up on the couch, still refusing to look up.
“I always had a feeling really, since I was little. I mean you know those harmless crushes you have on the pretty teachers you had when you were like 6, yeah.”
“That’s the least surprising thing I’ve ever heard,” says Maria, with the tone of a bored but somehow loving big sister.
“What age does everyone else claim they first noticed?” Rio, still slapping her lips together at what you assume is the residual garlic, wipes her mouth dramatically. She leans forward, eyes glinting at you. “Because I was also in school. My English teacher wore these insane suits with heels and I totally would have walked into traffic for her.”
“I didn’t figure it out until college,” Pepper admits, embarrassed now, but only for a second. “But when I did, I immediately slept with my professor.”
“That’s not allowed!” Agatha cackled. “You can’t just-”
“It’s called sexual awakening, Aggie. Look it up. Besides,” Pepper added, “Some of us have morals and wait until graduation.”
“Oh, so you’re saying she wasn’t your professor anymore. Interesting.”
“I’m sure everyone had one of those phases, where you just fuck anyone you have the opportunity to, no?”
Nat smirks at that, wrapping her arms tighter around you, “not everyone, hm baby?”
You tilt your head back, peeking at her through your lashes. She boops your nose, which makes you smile, a bit against your will. “Don’t be mean,” you say, but she certainly wasn’t wrong and that’s likely also why you sometimes find breathing a little hard when you’re surrounded by so many mischievous, beautiful older women.
The gasp Val lets out almost makes you jump. “Little one… they were your first?”
After those words are uttered all you hear is whistles and laughs, and you completely close in on yourself. Subconsciously hiding in Natasha’s chest, as everything sort of blurs. You were always anxious about your lack of experience.
Val: “You always had a thing for corrupting innocent virgins, didn’t you?”
Val and Nat continue to bicker but your brain has stopped focusing on their words, too stuck in your own head.
Wanda notices the distant cloudy look that’s overcome your face and realises she’s going to have to step up and comfort you, while everyone else is bickering. She crouches in front of you, “hi my sweet girl,” she strokes the back of your head, trying to coax you out of Natasha’s chest so she can see you. “Come sit with mama, I’ve got you.”
When she returns back to her seat, with you cuddled as close as you could possibly get, you jump a little at hearing someone else’s voice. “Is she okay? Should I get her a glass of water?”
“Yes please, Maria, she’s alright.”
When Maria returns with the water, Wanda gently moves you back, “here baby, take a sip for me.” When you do, Wanda praises you, “good girl,” and lets you rest back against her, as she rubs gentle circles onto your back. “Do you want to thank Maria for getting the water for you?”
You shyly peek out at Maria, offering her a gentle smile, “thank you, ria.”
“You're welcome, y/n/n.”
Agatha cuts everyone off, “perhaps truth or dare was indeed a bad idea, Val. You’ve traumatised the poor girl.”
After she’s finally reigned her laughing in, she mumbles out quite a genuine apology, “I’m sorry I scared you little one, I couldn’t give up the opportunity to tease the black widow over there.”
“You’re all terrifying.”
“I promise we’re not that scary, darling. Just prone to a good tease, and well, dare I say but you’re an easy target.” -Agatha
You sit there with a massive pout on your face, pointing at her a little before exclaiming, “See! See! That’s what I mean!”
Wanda smiles fondly at your reaction, pressing her nose into your cheek to keep you close.
“I’m sensing a hint of brattiness over there, sweetheart.”
“Oh, yeah, she’s a massive brat.”
“Natty!”
“What, darling? Am I lying?”
“I am not a brat. I’m good.”
Natahsa raises an eyebrow, “what happens when you’re caught in a lie, hm?”
Knowing what she’s implying makes you shrink back into Wanda, trying to hide your face again.
“Oh, no, sweet girl. Answer mommy.”
“Mmmmm.”
“Oh, now you’re shy are you?”
“Stop it,” you mumble with a pout.
Wanda always takes a more gentle approach, which subtly makes you feel inclined to answer her.
“Answer mommy’s question, baby. What happens when you lie, when you’re not being a good girl?”
“Mmm get punished.”
“Exactly. So keep it up and that’s exactly what you’re getting, and no, I won’t be going easy on you. You enjoy when your mama spanks you far too much.”
You whine again in response, feeling exposed, but still safe with these women. This time Wanda allows you to hide your face in her chest for a moment, letting you recover.
“She’s so adorable. I bet punishing her is so much fun.”
“Oh it is, so much fun.”
“She whines and whimpers so beautifully.”
"Oh she does. Look forward to hearing it tonight, baby girl."
I am someone who has never really enjoyed watching sports and never really got the hype around following sports teams, but now after starting to really engage with women's sports and getting psychotically obsessed with a team,
I have come to the conclusion that everything is better and more interesting with lesbians
