It’s nice when you realize that you don’t need to be afraid of what other people think. That you can post some random nonsense, and not worry about if anyone cares.

Beginning the Taryon Darrington arc, I realized something. If Sam is able to bring a new character to the table and pull it off so can the others. They’re all professional voice actors who have played way more characters than our beloved Vox Machina. Of course, they’ll be missed. But I’m putting my irrational fears that the new characters might not capture our hearts aside. Any characters that Laura, Travis, Liam, Marisha, Sam, Ashley, and Taliesin create will be done with thought and whatever they bring to the table, parts of Vex, Vax, Grog, Pike, Keyleth, Percy, and Scanlan will still be there.

So I am rewatching the video Alan Watts to align my thoughts to effortless effort. I know it exists. And that is what will persue.

The Baby Step

It is said, a start is what you require the rest will follow. The procedure of making a life is just going with the flow, and before you can flow with the tide, you just have to make sure there is enough force in the stream to take you with it.

Last year as the pandemic struck, me, a college student, residing in an obsolete corner of the world, didn’t have much to look forward to. Life was a monotonous cycle, waking up - eating- attending a few classes- going back to sleep, and repeat. No dream, a desire to move forward and life just had come to a standstill.

Sometimes, however, opportunities are slapped onto your face. Just like how your best friend tells you, “Stop acting stupid and just look at what you have.” You wake up and much to your disappointment, find all you have is rocks. Then realization hits you hard that you have to build an empire out of it. Let me mention it clearly, it is not an easy task also it is not an impossible one.  That was my first step. Realization that I have an opportunity.

Welp, I'm infamous

Interestingly enough, I think today has been super interesting. Everyone that talks about how crazy Tumblr is with their labels... Totally true. But I had a really fun time and I'm glad to see what everyone was talking about first hand. I'm glad to say that my opinion has not faltered, and I'm still going to keep it with me.
