It’s genuinely excited whenever we get nuanced portrayals of bi people on screen — especially given the sheer amount of erasure and stigma bi folks still face. A few years ago we were basically invisible across mainstream media, so seeing that shift, even a little, feels huge.

I really hope the current hype leads to more romance stories with queer leads. Give me more book-to-screen adaptations that are faithful, sexy, thoughtful, and actually celebrate the diversity of queer love. But honestly? More than anything, I want more stories centred on queer women. Visibility for bi men is finally picking up, which is brilliant, but even where experiences overlap, bi women deal with different things — and those stories deserve to be told too.
