What was on the plan: Rest
What I actually did: 6.9 miles at 11:56 min/mi
Notes: The half marathon relay was so much fun! I ran the second leg, which was longer than the first leg but possibly less hilly. I was sort of regretting not doing the entire 13.1, but this was a chance for me to run at a faster pace than I would run a half. I am going to count this as a make-up run for my missing 4.5 mile build-up run. I didn’t crank up the pace every third, but I was in the faster part of the range, and I ran 2.4 more miles.
Up next: 6.5 miles at a comfortable pace (13:25-14:21 min/mi). I’m going for 4-6 with Tim and will do whatever is left after I drop him off.
Half marathon training run 35th. First time this year in shorts. Got a fast time on my 7k course. #garminfenix3 #asicsgb #beatyesterday #myasics #imoveme #instarunners (at Hessle)
RED31. Last run of January. Didn't run ever day but managed 101km. #stravaproveit #redjanuary #garminfenix3 #beatyesterday #myasics (at First Lane Hessle)
Behind the cut because I care for y’all. Daily updates are definitely easier to digest.
Half marathon relay this weekend! I’m excited. I’m mostly caught up on training, although I have to make up Wednesday’s workout tomorrow.

What I actually did: Made up 3/14 workout - 3 miles at 13:10 min/mi
Notes: Weather was lovely! I ran outside near campus and was a little speedier than usual for a jog, but it felt comfortable..probably because I took yesterday mostly off.
