been getting into id-ing Local Birds in 🫵 Your Area lately. and bc of this i have become acquainted with the blackbird family in the area and these mfs have 100% lived here for yeaaaars they are too smart. We've been watching each other - I'll watch them hopping around the garden or leave scraps out for them to dig through and they look through the sliding door and sit on the neighbours roof and follow me around when I'm doing things out back. very fun. they also have the worlds Fattest Fluffiest Fledgling.

Jerry Goldsmith - Logan's Run OMPST, MGM Records 1976. Run, runner! Sometimes I think the dystopian future is already here. Love both this soundtrack and film! Goldsmith is probably my favorite composer. A master of creating tense and evocative music. Brilliantly contrasting electronics for the city and full orchestra for the outside "natural" world. I think Goldsmith's work definitely influenced my tastes towards an embrace of not just electronic music, but soundscapes, abstracted collages and noise. He scored so many of my favorite films and TV, so his music has always been present in my life.
