Elena finds herself engaging in more recreational activities during the work hours. Not the most… encouraged activities, but it fills the time.
Out of the corner of her sensors she sees the code blob. Anymore it seems to mimic her actions. It shouldn’t be able to, considering the glass is one way, but it always knows exactly where to look. If she ignores all the horrifying aspects and how some days it looks like her partner watching her move it’s almost like an odd pet cat.
Elena’s never had an actual pet in her life. She should fact check herself later about the comparison.
The code hasn’t really been her main focus for a while. It’s got plenty of items to turn into and even a whole picture of a forest to gaze at. Much of her focus has been her chrysanthemums that she has been growing next to the filing cabinets. With her back turned from the entire room, Elena carefully pours a pitcher of water onto the soil.
Elena enjoys gardening. It’s really distracted her. It’s not like anyone besides researchers go into the research lab anyway.
