Cupcake Update 10 Happy Christmas !
IT'S CHRISTMAS !!!!!!!!
Finally, and, it is under a week away !!!
My Fair Cupcake are here to solve your present shopping issues with our new Christmas menu and Cupcake decorating classes. As an ethical cupcake company we have taken time to plan our menu to use ethically sourced and fairly traded products.
Here they are:
Chocolate orange cupcake filled with milk chocolate pieces and topped with a gooey chocolate orange fondant (made with local British cream). Decorated to look like a reindeer with a mix of local and fair trade sweets.
Chocolate mint cupcake with fresh mint, filled with dark chocolate and topped with chocolate mint butter cream. Decorated to look like a Christmas tree.
Christmas pudding spiced cupcakes filled with British fruit and organic and fair trade brown rum. Topped with a spice and rum butter cream. Decorated with cute Malteser Christmas puddings.
Gingerbread spiced cupcakes, made with British grown spices, topped with a ginger butter cream. Decorated with half a Local Gingerbread man and mini gingerbread sprinkles.
Lemon and Cranberry cupcakes with cranberry's from a non UK cooperative and fair trade lemons where possible. Topped with lemon butter cream and decorated to look like a melted snowman (with a mix of fair trade, local sweets and fondant icing).
All of our chocolate and cocoa is fair trade.
YUM!!!
All of our decorations are flexible to a point and we can mix and match them to suit your needs. Orders are being taken now for Christmas and New year. Usually we have a minimum order of 6 or 12 per flavour but due to having a number of orders already we are able to offer a variety of mixed boxes of Christmas flavours over Christmas week! Hurray!
We will be open for collection and delivery until Christmas Eve. We will be doing deliveries and collections on Christmas eve but not taking orders and we will close Christmas day and Boxing day. We will be open all over New year.
If you fancy something off our usual menu for Christmas, we can still do that but minimum order sizes will apply, sorry.
I wanted to share with you my favourite things for the Christmas season.
Firstly biodegradable wipes! I don't know about you but I cant live without a packet of wipes - fingers, face, make up everything! I've been using a certain type of wipe for a long time, as I know their products aren't tested on animals and chemical free and the liquids are biodegradable but I've never really thought about the wipes afterlife. After a lot of searching and digging I found that a lot of products I expected are not biodegradable. So sometimes I use organic fair trade cotton pads for removing make up but wipes are just sooooo much more convenient for speed, travel and life generally.
I found there are LOADS of new biodegradable wipes out there. In fact there are lots of new beauty products out there - all organic, fairly traded and made from a whole range of things. I'm loving Ecotools bamboo make up brushes at the moment and Nature Babycare Eco sensitive wipes. They are brilliant and easily available.

I'm also loving Faith in Nature pomegranate and Rooibos Conditioner. Faith in nature are a great nature, person and animal friendly firm. They actually make lots of different products, including gifts and household things. The best part- they are made in the UK, in Manchester! Well that's my festive tips. I guess I've given it away to my family and friends their getting a combination of cupcakes and beauty things for Christmas, might thrown in a pair of bamboo socks and some pants to poverty for good measure (http://www.pantstopoverty.com/) (http://www.pantstopoverty.com/)
Happy Christmas !
Wishing you peace and happiness,
Ann (and Lisa)
