This is the second time I have read this book, and it is just as dark, twisted, and creepy as the first time around! But I enjoyed every minute! The story is from Maya's POV, but it flips back and forth between the past and the present. This time around I listened to the audiobook (my 1st) and I picked this book for a couple of reasons. 1. I have read it before, so I wanted to compare the differences between the actual book and the audiobook 2. How this book is written with the flashbacks, I wanted to see if the flow of the story would be different But just like in the book, it has a great pace and the flashbacks flow effortlessly. It’s a beautifully written story about a dark and twisted world!
