I finally broke down, and I got the app on my phone! It is actually a pretty neat program to have at hand. I got it mainly to keep track of my food because we all know I can't keep track of a brush let a lone try and carry a little journal with me, so getting the app on the one device I use most in my life seemed sensible.
It's database is filled with all kinds of nutritional information on just about any product. Ever. If it doesn't then they have a little "quick add", and you enter in the name of the food, where it came from, it's nutritional info, and serving sizes. Same idea for the exercise part of the app. You look up the exercise preformed tell them how long or how many reps you did, and what weights were involved. It will help you to calculate what calories that were burned, and apply that to your daily goals.
Now it does make me nervous that anyone can input just about anything into the system, but they are very good about keeping an eye out for faulty information in their system.
There is also a little forum section open to any members. They have different categories you can go into such as getting started, success stories, food and nutrition, and fitness and exercise. It is all people trying to achieve the same things, and that is to turn their life into a healthy and fit one. It is a whole community just like fitblr with people working and encouraging each other.
This should help me stay motivated, and keep a better idea on how I am eating for the day. we all know it can get out of hand some days.
