buffy anne summers is at a bit of a stand still. dead-end waitressing job in a dead-end small town in a dead-end economy. and then, something incredible happens. call it what you will: fate, or destiny, or a flat tire, but crossing paths with faith lehane obliterates the slow normalcy of everyday life. dreams of big cities and fat wallets have them talking for hours, and buffy has never fallen in love so fast. if only the girl hadn’t just broken out of prison. or, if only she had the common sense to not continue breakin’ the law while in hiding. faith breaks out again, but this time-- she’s not sticking around. her dreams are bigger, badder, and involve quite a bit more firepower. and what’s more? they involve buffy summers as her partner in crime.
