Here are some Ancient relationship headcanons because I am rotating them rapidly in my brain <- insane
🌻Pure Vanilla Cookie🌻
One of the absolute best partners you could ask for if we're gonna be honest, attentive of your feelings and desires at all times and does just about anything to make you happy.
He can be a little overbearing at times though, if he even gets an inkling of a hint that you're upset he's working overtime to help fix it (even if he can't actually do anything). If you're sick you're not allowed to leave your room for longer than an hour before he's shepherding you away to rest. One conversation later and he'll try to ease up a little but just know he's keeping an eye on you.
Actually very okay with PDA; not in a showy way or an inappropriate way, he just loves you lots! Hand holding, cheek kisses or forehead kisses, lots of hugging, he just has a lot of affection for you and enjoys showing it. His favorite is kissing the back of your hand or your palm, though.
He enjoys quality time the absolute most; sitting and relaxing in the garden with a cup of tea and his lover is the best date he could ask for, though a walk through the garden is just as grand.

Honestly, holding your hand when I say this, not the best partner tbh. She's fun and affectionate and loving but ALSO would either drag you off into the unknown for an adventure or leave abruptly and not pay attention to how long she's gone for.
Honestly though she would be an extremely fun partner to have; due to her time adventuring she knows MANY creative date spots and has an assortment of gifts to shower upon you. You mention wanting to try one (1) activity and she's already plotted out your day doing that activity.
Extreme PDA fan, you are not safe no matter where you are. She lifts you up bridal style, covers you in kisses, wraps her arms around you to poke at your stomach and tickle you, it doesn't matter if its the other ancients around or somebody she's never met. She WILL be affectionate with you.
Her ideal date is either a night in drinking berry juice or an adventure somewhere dangerous where she can show off for you (but not too dangerous, she doesn't want you to get hurt after all!)
🐉Dark Cacao Cookie🐉
Genuinely whether or not he's a good partner hinges solely on you and your preferences at this point. He's a little closed off and rigid but he does love you dearly, but after the betrayals he's faced he has a harder time being open.
He's far more involved with his kingdom than the other two, so time with him is few and far between. He does attempt to make it up to you with exclusive dinners and quiet nights, and on occasion he'll get you a nice gift (though they're always something practical).
NOT a fan of PDA at ALL, not because he has a reputation to uphold or anything, just because he's awkward as all hell and isn't entirely sure how to feel about it. The most affection he'll display in public is the occasional pet name or linking your pinkies together, and even then he's flustered.
His ideal date is a quiet night in relaxing without worry of anything going wrong. Run your hands through his hair and gently massage his temples.
🧀Golden Cheese Cookie🧀
A good partner ONLY if you are okay with polyamourous relationships. You CANNOT tell me that the greediest cookie on Earthbread is NOT poly. If you can tamper your jealous and understand that she loves her treasures equally then she's a great partner. She herself isn't very jealous either, after all she wants her own partner to be greedy; so you can also have other partners if you so choose.
She's actually extremely good at splitting her attention evenly between her lovers and is VERY good at remembering who prefers what and who's okay with what. A versatile cookie who remembers your anniversary, your other partners anniversary, her own other partners anniversary, everybody's birthdays.
She's 100% okay with PDA, and adjusts accordingly to her partners preferences. So it can range anywhere from practically making out on her throne with no care as to who can see to something as simple as only holding hands. She is greedy though, so she would loooove if you'd let her kiss you silly in front of others.
Her ideal date is spending time relaxing with all of her partners, but other than that an ideal date to her would also be tracking down treasures with her partner(s).
🌼White Lily Cookie🌼
A wonderful partner, but extremely insecure. She rarely spends any energy on herself and instead focuses on you to the point you have to stop her and remind her that she also matters.
Due to her trauma and regret she tends to get in her own head about being a better partner, sometimes over compensating by focusing solely on your health and your desires; so it's extremely important that you set aside days where you focus on her. Remind her that despite also being Dark Enchantress Cookie she is still the White Lily that you fell in love with and no matter what you'll always love her. Remind her she's allowed to make mistakes.
She's not the biggest fan of PDA, it makes her nervous so the furthest she'll allow is a quick kiss on the cheek and hand holding. She does loosen up around the other Ancients and initiates affection more, but still isn't the type to make out sloppy style where somebody might see.
Her ideal date is a nature walk, calming and preferably low stress.

🎪Shadow Milk Cookie🎪
He's an okay partner. Not the greatest but not the worst. He's attentive for the most part but he can get in his own head and egotistical, which leads to him neglecting your relationship for his "newest play/show".
Not a partner for the faint of heart, as his showmanship can get to extreme levels which can sometimes put you in danger. If you aren't a powerful cookie you 100% get injured during his plays, and though he does make it up to you it will happen again.
Extreme PDA fan, has to let everybody know he owns you. He'll sit in your lap or make you sit in his with little regard to how it makes you feel. Absolutely SHOWERS you in kisses in any place he can reach, and will wear lipstick just to leave a mark.
His ideal date is having you watch one of his plays, once again not a partner for the faint of heart; as his plays do get... violent. But if you were willing to date the beast of deceit to begin with you were probably already alright with a few hundred or so cookies crumbling, so just sit back and enjoy the show he put on just for you!
☁️Eternal Sugar Cookie☁️
Wonderful partner! So long as you don't try to leave She's extremely attentive of your needs and you'll want for nothing while in her paradise. The entire garden is at your disposal, along with her followers and minions.
You do have to deal with her absolute need to have Hollyberry, so if you aren't poly you're kind of screwed, but if you are congrats! TWO hot as hell girlfriends!
She does enjoy PDA, though hers is often lazy in a way. Draping her arm around your shoulders or your waist, lazy kisses pressed to your cheek or shoulder (or wherever she can reach), if she can't reach you she just makes grabby hands at you and pouts.
Her ideal date is slothful and lazy, literally just take a nap in the garden or hang out. If you MUST have some sort of activity she can spare some energy to take a walk with you or spend some time in the baths.
🌾Mystic Flour Cookie🌾
Holds your hand. I'm sorry, but she's a dogshit partner and you should not date her. Her whole thing is apathy, even if she does agree to date you she'd treat you coldly with little regard to your feelings.
She shows you the same amount of affection as Cloud Haetae, though if we're being honest she might favor them more. She might, over time, grow more attached to you but there will ALWAYS be a wall there.
Doesn't enjoy PDA but won't stop you if you show her affection. She won't push you away but will not kiss or hug you back, the best you'll get is a pat on the head.
She doesn't have an ideal date, primarily because she views it as meaningless to even have dates when you'll just become flour anyways.
🔥Burning Spice Cookie🔥
Good partner ONLY if you can be entertaining enough for him. He hates boredom more than anything, so if he gets bored of you you'll know immediately.
Honestly? If you manage to keep things fresh and entertaining for him he's not that bad, sure he destroys everything he can get his hands on but he tries to avoid letting you get hit by shrapnel (by tries I mean minimal effort).
Enjoys PDA almost as much as Shadow Milk, as it is an ownership thing for him as well. Loves sitting you on his lap or wrapping his arm around you or even perching you on his arm like a pretty lil bird.
His ideal date is watching his minions fight gladiator style with you, or having you watch him crumble cookies. Yet another cookie not for the faint of heart, but are any of these cookies?
⚔️Silent Salt Cookie⚔️
Best partner out of all of the beasts, he remains chivalrous despite everything that has happened. He does feel like he doesn't deserve your love quite frequently and may lash out as a result, but he always apologizes and makes it up to you.
His guilt weighs heavily on his shoulders and often influences how he treats you, the more guilty he feels the more he treats you as though you were glass or something that could be broken. He hesitates to touch you in any way, primarily out of fear that he may corrupt or ruin you.
Absolutely no PDA, even as the Salt of Solidarity he wasn't a fan of PDA. He does get a little more touchy in private but he's aware his armor isn't comfortable to hug or touch and refuses to take it off, so any affection is limited.
He doesn't really have an ideal date, any time spent with you is time he considers well spent.
Ngl as a white lily simp...saw your hcs and ngl I'd be cuddly to her...whenever she needed a hug or a cuddle, I'm right there...how would she feel having an emotional support teddy partner?

I think White Lily would really appreciate having an emotional support teddy bear partner!! While she's not big on PDA she'd absolutely love having a partner who's super cuddly in private and willing to sit with her while she reads or works. Not to mention having a partner who'd be willing to ground her during panic attacks or when the depression hits.
She sometimes has nightmares about turning into Dark Enchantress Cookie or doing bad things, so having somebody willing to hold her while she sleeps or stay up with her when she's too afraid to is extremely important. She needs the reassurance that, despite it all, they are still two different cookies. So having a partner that'd hold her against their chest so she can listen to their heart and the jam pumping through their dough would help regulate her and calm her down enough to sleep.

If any cookie was gonna be poly it'd 100% be the greediest cookie like lets all be honest here; she either has a harem or a polycule so large it's a spider web.
I also genuinely think she wouldn't experience much jealousy at all; with the only time she acts jealous being when one of her partners are getting flirted with and isn't enjoying it, in which she takes on the role of jealous partner to chase the other person away. She 100% encourages her partners to have other partners of their own, and if you like someone but are too afraid to approach she'd 100% wing-woman for you.
Like I think the Golden Cheese Kingdom has the highest rate for poly relationships purely because it's so normalized there, obviously it's not forced, people can't control their sexuality but poly cookies don't have to hide it or be ashamed.
Also Golden Cheese's poly has regular meetings to arrange date nights.
