Since the news of her dad passing, Audrey has really been lashing out at everyone due to her mourning the death of her dad. Audrey and Belisama got into an argument and they decided to break up. 💔😭😟😩

Adoption Gut Punch

“Hey Guys... I have something to share with you. I did cocaine last night!” Five half months pregnant... we rode the roller coaster of trying to help the day before and this is the call received. I watched the smile wash away from my husband’s face. I felt... nothing! NUMBNESS!!! A conversation with the social worker provides insights that these are classic signs of an addict and it needs to be assumed she has been an active user throughout the pregnancy. My heart just crumbled. Poor baby... she/he deserves a better beginning!

Today more than anything I know I am going to need a healthy outlet to move pass this numbness. In the past, ironically, my comfort would be found in the bottom of a bottle, but today it just seems so much more appropriate to just go out and run! 🏃🏽‍♂️

I came home to my mom to help transition her into a facility that can help her more than we are able to. It has been a difficult time for all of us, and though we try to be strong, we don’t always succeed. Mom is our glue. She has always been the one that took care of us. Not having the ability to do the same for her hurts. But we must not be selfish when it comes to her needs. The truth of the situation becomes unquestionably apparent when the roles are reversed between mother and daughter. We stay here for hours each day in hopes of making the transition as easy for mom as we possibly can. In reality, I think it’s harder for us to walk out the door without her. Full circle When I was a baby, I looked into your eyes and saw the face of love. You were my everything. My strength, my keeper, my confidant, my mom. You are the reason I am the woman I am today. Now, as a woman, I look into your eyes and I still see the face of love. Only now, there’s a tinge of mortality. You raised me, giving me the ability to now be your strength, your keeper, your confidant, your daughter. It isn’t easy exchanging roles. When the mother takes care of the daughter, it’s to help her grow. When the daughter takes care of the mother, it’s to help her go. We never know when the last goodbye will be. However, I will forever show you unending love in the face you see. I can leave with the confidence that in my absence, you’ll be well taken care. I wish I could stay, however, you raised me to take care of my own. No matter how far away I am, my heart is always with you as yours is with me.
