If you're curious about my own Basil headcanons, they're actually pretty similar!

I usually write him as more nonbinary agender :3 Mostly the idea of "I wish I was born a girl, not because I really want to be, but because then the things I already like would be socially acceptable" so he wouldn't get bullied for "dressing girly" or "liking girly things" or obviously liking boys.

Which, is a disconnect from masculinity and a lack of strong opinion on gender. Not, "I want to be a girl, I wish I had that body and was referred to as one" from an internal motivation, but rather external factors, "It would be easier to be who I am if I was in the more acceptable category".

So... @myosotis-tageteserecta and I ended up making a Yakuza Ayase AU. Ayase is one of those people who saves others from the underground and ends up with a hoard of people who will do anything for him. Someya was kicked out of his home, Ayase takes him in and funds his bar. Maids and prostitutes become his spy network for Ayase to stay up to date. Ayase punches Kanou for daring to say any slurs to any of his people. There's a lot more in conversation but it'll make this too long. Lol.

Hey!!! Can I request Time Travel with Thomas Wayne and Bruce Wayne? (Bonus points for the rest of the bat colony!)

77. In Vino Veritas + 97. Time Travel. I will admit that it took me a depressingly long time to realize that you didn't mean Owlman when you asked for Thomas Wayne. 😅

So, as it happens. Sometime while he was busy being unstuck in time, Bruce totally ended up running into his dad, back before Thomas had convinced Martha Kane he wasn't a complete loser. Of course, since he hasn't shaped up yet in order to woo the lovely Miss Kane, that means that, well. Thomas is... not the father that Bruce remembers. What is it they say—sometimes you shouldn't meet your heroes?

Thomas Wayne is... a disappointment. Not a drunk, exactly. Quite. He's more tipsy than drunk most of the time (most of the time), but he's more interested in staying up late with his buddy Zatara and living the high life. Y'know. Ignoring the fact that medical school takes some work.

"You can't keep this up forever," Bruce says gruffly, helping the bedraggled man to his feet and out of the gutter he stumbled into.

"Don' see why not," Thomas says, leaning his head on the shoulder of his wonderful new friend.

"Don't you want a real life? Goals, accomplishments—a family?"

Thomas wrinkles his nose, shakes his head—stops when that's too much, makes him too dizzy. "I don' think so, ol' man. That—that sounds like it'd be the death of me."
