I know I said the first week is the hardest...

But now I know that was a lie I told myself, hoping it would be true.

It’s day 8 and I can’t sleep because all I want to do is be in your arms. Staring into those icy blue eyes as you tell me how much you love me. That smirk you give me every time you see me. And holding you close with my head on your chest and your arms around me so tight, gently running your fingers up and down my forearm, kissing me head every so often.

And I want to make love to you, but not for the pleasure of it. But for the ending when you hold me so tight for a few minutes and gently kiss my head and cheeks. The way you look into my eyes.
