I was guessing so, so much on the pattern alterations that there’s a part of me that’s surprised it even buttons, never mind fits nicely! It’s nearly like I’m starting to know what I’m doing :)

Your dress turned out amazing! I keep looking at Collette dress patterns, and need to get the courage to sew one for myself.
Omg, I’m such a shill for Colette/Seamwork; maybe 80% of what I sew is one of their patterns, or a modified version. They tend to have very good instruction and mostly predictable sizing/fitting - at this point I know what alterations I need to make with their patterns across the board, but I am also very close to the measurements for their size 18 and a straight size 18 sewn up usually fits me decently without alterations, too.
