Green tea with ginseng is a winner! I feel so alert and awake plus now im ready for breakfast.
Lunch today was some leftover rice, pickled carrots and edamame! Feeling so good about this diet!
Pickled carrots
I made pickled carrots today. The link is in a past post and they are so good. I used white rice vinegar and regular white sugar and they are just so tasty. I now have loads pickling in my fridge waiting for me to eat in the next few days!
Breakfast for today is green tea and musli with soya milk! Once I get the chance to go shopping I'll finally be able to start having a traditional Japanese breakfast. Can't wait!
Every sip of green tea I take warms me from the inside! I am starting to think that this diet change idea is going to be really great.
The first step:
So tonight I am implementing the first of my diet changes! Drinking green tea and changing regular milk for soya milk.
The green tea is super healthy and contains lots of anti-oxidants and should curb any sweet cravings I have
Soya milk is a healthy alternate to milk and I'm making this change because it is a good source of protein and soy products are shown to be very healthy. I'll have a post up about how I find the soya milk later!
Hey everybody,
Do you ever just feel like you need a change of pace? Like your current situation is a little too difficult or maybe you are just fed up with an old way of life!
Today is the start of a change for me! I have recently been looking into studying Japanese and through that I have found Japanese food in a way I hadn't considered before. Maybe I can learn to eat well like the Japanese while learning their language and making my life better in the process! Please feel free to join me on my Japanese journey whilst still living in Ireland!
Hopefully someday I will be able to blog to you from Japan but for now Ganbatte! がんばって!!Good luck!
