tell me about sheppers on the politeness scale gooooo

on a scale of most to least polite, it's probably jonah, basil, clara, emmet, alice and zoey comes in last.

jonah's like, uncomfortably polite? like unless someone really really pissed him off he'll just stand there and nod, maybe try and explain his point but if the other person wont listen he'll just stand and get yelled at or whatever and walk away when they're done. basil does the same but it takes a little less to crack him and he reverts to yelling. clara has very little tolerance for bullshit and will quickly fight back with fists if she doesnt like what she hears. emmet's pretty smooth but he's more blunt than he is outright rude. alice is really rude but only if the person deserves her time. and zoey's just a bitch for the sake of being a bitch so no one gets close to her.

36. who handles spiders? (omg this is 20x more hilarious because there are actual space spider enemies in game im laughing)

clara/kaidan: SQUISH THE SPIDER

jonah/ash: jonah puts it outside or on one of the plants around the house. ash squishes them but never ever with a book because she loves her books too much to get spider guts on them

jack/zoey: multiple bullet holes in the carpet/ceiling. possible broken furniture. both of them wind up clinging to each other on top of a table because they are big babies. (this is not realistically possible because they are both vicious murder machines but it makes me laugh so i'm keeping it)

alice/garrus: "GARRUS KILL IT KILL IT YOU'RE THE ONE WITH THE CONCUSSIVE SHOT" "spirits alice it's not a rachni calm down" "KILL IT" (alice is a baby and garrus is amused)

miri/emmet: there's no way spiders even get into the house in the first place miri's too smart for that

basil/steve: basil kills the spider because steve doesn't like killing things that aren't reapers

I don't know what the shepper meme is but I want to know how first kisses (with their space boyfriends/girlfriends/princesses/so on and/or in general) went for all the sheppers, tell the bird the thing

hmm claras sticks pretty close to canon but i like to imagine that after joker decided to interrupt at the most inopportune moment and make things awkward for everybody clara left for the cockpit to check on things and left kaidan kind of standing there awkwardly and maybe five seconds later she comes marching back and says "fuck it" and just kisses him really hard and when she pulls back she stares at him for a second and says "dont you dare breathe a word of this to anyone" and he just kind of nods and she goes off again and hes there like "what the hell have i gotten myself into" it's gr9

i know jonah and ash's was after a fight somewhere, and they kind of lost track of what happened but one of them was in trouble and the other had just barely saved the other's ass and afterwards they're in the mess hall quietly making coffee or looking over reports and jonah mentions how he could have lost her back there and how he was worried and ash kind of tsks and tells him hes too attached and he smiles and shakes his head and she comes over and makes him look at her and says "thanks, skipper" with a little smile and a quick little kiss and leaves before she can embarrass herself and shepard sits there grinning for the rest of the day and the crew is wondering why he's smiling like that but doesnt worry because its been a while since he had

alice spent a lot of the day before debating whether or not she would like get dextro poisioning from kissing a turian. so they sit around doing reports or calibrating or at the shooting range or whatever and garrus absentmindedly asks her what shes thinking about so intently and she just kind of stares at him for a minute and calculates her chances of dying and finally decided that 40% is a low enough risk and kind of just pounces him and spoiler alert she doesnt die and everything is good

aaaaaa zoeys is rather uneventful its just her and jack like "you wanna make out" "yeah" "sweet lets go" and it goes on for a long time and no one dares speak about it for fear of pissing them off except for maybe miranda because miri is hardcore

miranda had been kind of skittish around shep once she decided she liked him and she knew kissing him would mean theres no turning back shes head over heels in love with this stupid dork of a man and it was all because of that stupid face and dumb smile and pretty eyes and god damn it. so emmet notices she tenses up sometimes when he kisses her head or little things like that and just before a really important mission like the iff or something she just goes "fuck it" and wishes him good luck and kisses him full on the mouth, arms around his neck, the whole deal and hes just so taken aback by it and he kind of stares at her and she smiles a little and says "dont die." and kicks him out before he can see her blushing

basil i havent quite figured out yet because i havent finished his run/romance so im not sure how it works but i imagine basil brings steve food and stuff like that because he forgets to eat sometimes and they sit and eat lunch in the shuttle bay and eventually during one of their lunches steve is like "hey basil you got something on your lip" and basil's like "what" and he just leans over and kisses him and basil is like "that was awesome but what was on my lip" because hes a big oblivious baby and steve laughs at him and basil doesnt question it because its nice to see him laugh aw

he likes having a home and a family to take care of and who takes care of him in return. and tbh the normandy is home, and if you wanna get really specific anywhere ashley is he can call home

she has none because she refuses to admit she's done wrong

home is where your heart is, and really her heart is always in her ribcage so home is wherever she goes. shes v flexible and is used to jumping from place to place.

having to lose everything he worked for so early on and not fighting harder for it

he grew up with a massive family, so everyone knew everyone, and anywhere family is is where he can call home. (in other words, his crew becomes his family and the normandy his home)

Zoey: 

she says she regrets nothing but really she regrets everything

shes besties with ash and surprisingly samara too

she only really ever had one home and she hasnt gone back to mindoir since she was a teenager, and shes slowly geting used to the idea of family that isnt blood related
