New #review #MySistersGrave by @robertdugoni I could see My Sister's Grave being an old-timey film noir. It just had that kind of vibe. I had an inkling of how it would end, but didn't see all of it. But I definitely liked the ending. I listened to the audiobook and thought that the narrator, Emily Sutton-Smith did a good job. BOOK 42 of 2019: MY SISTER’S GRAVE by Robert Dugoni It’s funny how two people can have such different opinions. Hubby and I usually read and like the same books. He read this first and loved it - he asked if we had the 2nd in the series - so I was excited to read it. And it took me forever to get through. Seriously, I could have read 4 more books by now. It’s not a bad book. It’s a good plot about a detective who can’t let go of her sister’s disappearance twenty years ago. When they find her body, things presented at the trial that put a man away for her sister’s murder don’t add up and she investigated to find the truth. For me, it was slow reading though. Too many pages describing scenery and what people were wearing (I honestly started flipping through those pages) and not enough character development to really make me care about anyone but the dogs 🐶 Maybe the next in the series is better.
