"I wish my psoriasis was as bad as the first time I thought my psoriasis was bad". The photo on the top was take in November 2013 and the bottom photo was taken a few weeks ago. Never did I realise that little bit of psoriasis (no bigger than a 50p) would spread across my forehead, into my scalp, down my face and appear in my ears, legs, belly button and some other places. I have been confident in my skin for a while but If it wasn't for the psoriasis community online (especially @getyourskinout) I wouldn't have the confidence to show off my skin as publicly on social media as I do. Love your skin no matter what!! // #MySkinIsBeautiful

Did you know that August is Psoriasis awareness month? I've had psoriasis for a little under 3 years now and been receiving treatment for just over 18months. My psoriasis journey has seemed like a long one though relatively short into comparison to some. It took me a long time to come to terms with my psoriasis and not be afraid to show it off proudly (with it being on my face I couldn't really hide it could I)! As much as I would love to be cured, I think it would be weird to not have it on my forehead and other areas of my body, it's part of me and who I am because #MySkinIsBeautiful // #GetYourSkinOut
